wearecity
Very expensive, but I guess it's no different to buying a cabinet with Mame and/or other emulators on it. I wouldn't mind a cabinet myself (but not at that price), but I simply don't have the room for even a bartop type cabinet, let alone something like this.
stevedude2
'Our fruit machines...' - probably layouts nicked from here, or maybe you've got to install them all yourself. Not cheap either, and that's without any payout stuff added. Why do you need a coin mech for each hopper? I'd like to see a video of a real one rather than some 3D rendered artist's impression. The button panel angle looks way too flat. It looks like they're shut for medical reasons. I don't think I'd like to have paid for one last week, only to then read that red banner at the top today... To be honest I wouldn't mind something like this, but I would probably get bored of it after a while, even as die-hard a fruit machine fan as I am. Probably best to get one second-hand... Road Hog Mad
About £400 to make your own cab with bits (some second hand), and a lot of time building, you're paying for a service.

johnparker007
The website being simply http rather than https seem a bit dodgy. The original KASE-EO definitely seems real, started by making virtual pinball cabinets, registered on companies house - but company dissolved in 2023. https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/10882121 Wayback machine is offline at the mo when entering a URL to view, so can't do checks there which would fill in the gaps much better. The 'Adam Bacchus' guy in the blurb on the website is the name the company was registered under. Either: - it was stopped for real back when the company was closed down a few years, and someone/AI has hacked the domain ...or... - it's legit and the original guy is just doing a bit of it on the side for some pocket money, but no longer as a limited company full time thing. It was definitely legit for a decade or two. Adam's full address as director is available from companies house. Though if it were hacked, I wouldn't expect the hackers to do that 'closed for medical reasons' stuff - but I dunno. You could always send Adam a message Also, Adam appears to have set up another http (not https) site called 'PlayCave', which seems to be the same sort of thing: http://www.playcave.co.uk/about.html Adam's youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@redrocket763/videos Facebook page (last post in 2015): https://www.facebook.com/people/KASE-EO-Amusements/100066785125821/ Right I'm gonna stop digging now, but that's a bit more info. Still wouldn't pay any money until speaking to Adam himself, to verify his site isn't hacked! About text from website: In 2001, Adam Bacchus was to open the UK's most comprehensive on-line MAME store, offering flat-packed arcade cabinets and 300+ cabinet accessories and parts, anything from 8-way joysticks right down to the cabinets castors. This was all achieved from his workshop in Suffolk. This store was known as Red Rocket Retro Ltd. The ever increasing popularity of retro game cabinets being used at home got Adam thinking, and then a plan started to unfold. Armed with lists of suppliers, suggestions and comments from past customers and most importantly, fantastic ideas and designs, formed the basis of the foundations for the UK's strongest partnership in gaming cabinet solutions, KASE-EO. As a supplier of cabinets to home users, KASE-EO could not fail to wake the 80's and 90's kid in everyone that had ever became truly engrossed in a classic 8-bit videogame. The popularity of virtual pinball machines in the US caught Adams attention, and in 2006 KASE-EO started manufacturing such machines, the first business to do so within the EU and UK. In 2017, KASE-EO started designing commercial machines set for amusement arcades up and down the UK. And in 2023 the virtual fruit machines became the worlds first.
