BigBreakfast
Am now starting the preliminary work on Electrocoin dll's for eventual use in Oasis. Here's what I know so far. There are 2 main electrocoin boards (Ignoring the hi tech boards for now) The older smaller one, with a daughter board for the lamps running of a ribbon cable. Usually has 3 * 4kb ROMs + sound And the big square one. Usually a 32kb rom + sound My questions are these... 1) MAB kits had a kind of plug in module, do we have ROMs / pictures and or any info on the module? 2) Chuzzy kits are they a similar thing or just a new set of ROMs? 3) What ROMs do we have available that are known good sets? Can anyone shed any light, Electrocoins weren't really my thing, so I'm sure there are those more knowledgable than me.
thealteredemu
Have a chat with BarX Queen, he has mab/chuzzy emulated. I believe people called them chuzzy kits but I think it’s all one of the same, games by MAB. J Edited August 12 by thealteredemu
cliffc
No as a previous owner of a real electrocoin machine the Chuzzy and MAB kits were completely different but i believe Chuzzy had a hand in the MAB boards. The Mab kit needed a small board in the machine, this was separate from the main board, my machine had this board in there so i am guessing at some time it must have ran MAB roms. When i got it it was on concept roms. The Chuzzy kit came on it own board you had to remove the electrocoin sec chip and you plugged this into the Chuzzy board then plugged that into the empty socket on the electrocoin board, having set the rotary switch on this board for the machine type you were putting it in
BigBreakfast
I have these glasses. Not sure if we have ROMs or an emulator to go with them?
BarXQueen
I have got a couple of Concept ROMs running in EFME but am unclear about what runs already in MFME (no point in reinventing the wheel). I have no idea what Chuzzy ROMs are, and whether they differ from MAB and Concept. Any explanation gratefully received. If anyone can upload known Chuzzy ROMs I can take a look
thealteredemu
I believe this is a chuzzy board. According to an old ebay listing that is. J

johnparker007
Looks like to truly emulate, would need to get one of those kits to dump what is on that Lattice FPGA (if that is even dumpable).
