My dad worked for courage brewery in the late 70s/early 80s in charge of whatever fruit machine and video games they had, as well as restocking the juke box.

We had cabinets in our back room in-between pubs; a stand up asteroids and cresta, as well as a sit down space invaders. Absolute gems.

Looks to be going too fast for me, also when you lost a ship the whole thing would slow down for that card.

My record is approx 37,000, and that's with a machine set at 30,000 for a 'free game' which basically carries on with a new ship. 

When you get up to there, the worst card is the last two, the atomic piles. They all come down at once! so you have position yourself correctly.

That shooting version of Moon Cresta was a complete bastard.

I did another video for this, they fixed bugs so got a pretty much instant update.

It feels faster as we are landscape, not portrait but year, the shooting one was horrible and super hard !

Another all-time classic.  Almost every single arcade I went into in the early eighties had one of these in there.  The music, and the coloured dot falling graphics in the background are stand outs.

The one that shot at you, known as moon cresta 2 in the arcade, was just way too hard.
