WonkySausage
jackpot party have slots on facebook and have a few games we all know from casinos, like black knight, raging rhino, rainbow riches, huff and puff - but you play for free points, and there's (rather extortionate) ways of buying more points to play with, so i dunno, if you're on faceache, could try that for a slightly ameneded version of them, but cos they're obviously there to make money, the slots are tighter than a ducks arsehole, but occasionally you do get the big wins Edited June 23 by WonkySausage

WonkySausage
yeah i getcha, i suppose even though they're "free", they want you to buy chips so it's sort of backhand, 2nd degree gambling I guess. The best bit being you get nothing back for your return. People will probably laugh but at the height of my worst I thought they were a safe alternative and once binned £100 on a Freemium slot. Started off well, soon was buying £10 bundles of credits. For what?! I could have bought a few physical console games or a bunch of PC games. Or movies. Or music. But nope, I paid 'decent seat in the West End' money (which would give memories that could last a lifetime) for about an hour of using my own phone to play some rip off slots using the worst psychological shit possible. Absolute fucking twats. I also class myself in that category, but in mitigation I was an addict and as we all know, addicts aren't known for exercising common sense. If it was a fruit machine game then I'd agree for sure, but I just can't see how useful ramming a community to death on an emulator could be in real life. Might give you a slight edge at best. There's no skill to the gameplay, apart from hitting them at the right time/stake, but that's luck more than anything/sharking someone doing their nuts.

Mind you when our team was running it, half the time was making sure the forums ran smooth, the other half was making sure Arlo didn't tank the board after a few ciders haha As for the video emulators, I think DIF has definitely made the right call. 1

It may be a good idea to not ask for invites, naming platforms openly, and tagging certain members for invites, it's clear that someone from/or affiliated with one of the companies involved has infiltrated the site. If people want to find out information it's probably best to just message members who you know and trust, and anyone new and not really a known quantity, well no offence but they will have to earn their stripes and the trust of those with the knowledge. Multiple posts mentioning a certain platform is only going to kill that off pretty sharpish and draw attention more in the direction of the effected emulators and their creators, which will lead to even any slight chance of future progress being well and truly snuffed out.And for god's sakes, don't do any videos or post anything with anything leading to the source. There needs to be a closed group somewhere, and it needs to be largely secret. The platform mentioned repeatedly on here is already a risk now because of it being talked about willy nilly. And another thing, if a new forum is created elsewhere, it may be wise to use different screen names as well so that there is a level of obscurity where the companies can't point back to here and point out that it's linked to this site, even if just by affiliation of the members, because that is all it will take. I totally agree with Ze Frog in what he is saying as all you got to do now is Google it and it is all over the web the creators do very hard job in creating this emulator for us all to enjoy especially for free then everyone jumps on it like bees on honey and posting it everywhere then it kills it for us all I recommend in future if ever a new emulator similar to this ever be made only share it with those who earned there stripes and have secret section on this site or discord for those individuals who you think earned there stripes so everything is done in the back room then no chance of it going all over the web and everyone else can then also carry on enjoying this site like before and way in to the future I know I haven't earned my stripes this mvfme was a nice bonus for us all while it lasted have it has a lesson learnt. As amazing as it is for the new stuff to be emulated, i'm more than certain playing them at home would encourage me to want to play for real and ruin all my hard work getting to the position i'm in now. The more I think about it, and your post, the more I regret posting about freemiums, though thankfully/hopefully, the original person who wanted that specific game, probably hasn't gone and played the freemium version. As you say anyone who is or has been addicted to slots might find it too easy to get hooked again as you say, we sometimes lack common sense, or discipline Edited June 24 by WonkySausage

As you say anyone who is or has been addicted to slots might find it too easy to get hooked again as you say, we sometimes lack common sense, or discipline I have downloaded them, but the funny thing is I played them on day 1 and haven't felt a desire to play them since. I ended up sitting there bored. I was discussing with another happy non-gambler last night that the only thing that I have considered using them for since then is statistical analysis. I want to (for example) bang 100x£50 spins through to give a rough idea of the odds on the spinny wheel before some of the games. The segments all look equal, so what are the actual odds of landing on each segment? What about near misses? Are the lands on the wheel skewed to stop just before landing on a feature or big money position? But like you... in terms of actually wanting to play them, I'm happily not fussed. My pick up for when I want to waste some time has been my £45-ish Anbernic handheld for some GameBoy or similar. Which cost less than one £50 spin on one of these sacks of shite, yet provides hours of amusement. Edited June 24 by slotsmagic Attempting to quit gambling since January 1st 2025. These days GamStop can be easily circumvented if you desire a gamble, or (as I did) I migrated to arcades and bookies instead, which I thought were 'safer'. Not my smartest move, but made sense in my head (stakes were limited, whereas online there was nothing stopping you from a 'pro-raise' up to £250 a spin). I definitely recommend GamStop, but you also need to remove the desire to gamble at all, unless you are happy gambling elsewhere. 1 Attempting to quit gambling since January 1st 2025. Otherwise mvfme.com was still online and the emulator threads still available here. Invaders from the planet moolah is a current game , in casino's ... so.... i really dont get it them be making a fuzz about this.... whomever "them" is.... It's largely due to copyright and the fact that the b.pak's could be reversed engineered or downloaded and added to existing machines in the wild by-passing the need to pay for a dongle or whatever is needed for update. Free to play online is different, because although you have access to the game, you don't have access to the actual code and so it is controlled with no worry of loss to the companies involved.

Some of them are switchable (these are labelled as CD and will typically also run at £35/£70 jackpot), some are just labelled D. Haven't tried them in MVFME though. Some of the games can be ridiculously volatile on 10p on T7. One that rings a bell was Elvis Smash Hits, I was about £60 into one once on 10p and then it went bonkers and paid about £55. Not sure about the usual community games, they may be less volatile. Edited June 24 by slotsmagic 1 Attempting to quit gambling since January 1st 2025. They even have 2x BFM Casino Bar 7's - the one that plays the looney tunes theme on jackpot (10p/£5), a row of 6 Electrocoin Bar X 7's though 4 of them have this weird Golden X thing on the middle reel. And they have an asian themed 3 player Astra bullion bar clone on £25/£50/£100 depending on stake, quite a lot of vintage still in there for a modern arcade!
