OK,,,I understand the line here…..So can the Threads be active if no file sharing is on the forum…..Guidance into construction of file formats, how ini files work etc can be posted???? Guidance on how to get the best out of certain emulators etc??? There we so many trial and error posts happening which was helping all…..Just trying to get some further clarification….Im guessing alot of people have the same thoughts

Are all emulators affected by this or just some ? For instance, if someone wanted to release an emulator for one of the currently unemulated fruit machine boards is that banned too ?

I assume there's been some sort of approach from a manufacturer or is it a case of just playing safe ?

Good job I grabbed barcrest n bell fruit when I did

shame really as this is what the sites are all about fruit machine history but if the big boys are sniffing about I see why they’re erased l. But isn’t mfme kind of similar there are still live machine in real life that are emulated within mfme.

I'm not surprised by this outcome and for the long run probably better off, here in Australia we was at this point with video emulation around 2007-2008, an Aristocrat employee leaked Mark 6 software (publicly), websites where discussions were based about this emulator were all targeted by Aristocrat, some websites here to this day (20+ years later) still don't allow the discussion of that particular emulator, stay safe DIF fams 👌

Oh no, that's really unfortunate that the emulators and the related discussion topics have all been removed.

I was still hoping for another update, especially regarding coin output and LED support. It's a shame that all the information, discussions, and knowledge that had been collected over time are no longer available.

Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any alternative place or community to turn to at the moment. Still, I would like to thank everyone who invested their time and effort into this project. Hopefully, one day there will be a way to continue the development or at least keep the discussion alive.

A Discord server sounds like a great idea, but we would need an invite link first. 😄

It would be even better if the BVEE and IGME emulator developers were part of the Discord community too. That way, users could ask questions, share findings, and hopefully stay up to date with future updates.
