What i would like is some advice what would be the best for just a windows pc ( Desktop and mouse, no touch ) that is just point it to the executable and the layout folder and that's it. So for the ones it found it looked and worked very nice, but too many layouts could not be found and so this frontend is of no use for me. Sorry regards, Reggert48 Then your layouts must be a real mess or you are not telling it the correct directory. It scans from where you set it up. I also have been doing fruit emulation from day 1 even before MFME was a thing and all the emulators were separated from each other ( JPEMU, BFMULATOR, Amber ) so i am not new to fruit emulation. I only asked for some advice on a frontend that was easy to use and then i get a reaction like i am some sort of newbie. I said i like the frontend, but only that it did not find all my layouts. As for my layout setup. I have all my layouts in the mfme folder and mfme itself finds all of them when i let the internal game manager of MFME scan them. So i don't what went wrong with GPC Arcade Kiosk in not finding all of them. I will try again to see if i can do something about the folder structure. Every other frontend i tried always found all the layouts, so i assumed the folder structure was correct. I have attached the folder structure of the layouts i have. I check the file structure and can't find anything wrong with, but the frontend found only 525 layouts. Delete the kiosk-games.json and run the installer again and send me the new file. I am looking to see if there is anything random or we get excatly the same result again. 2. From the command line of G:\MFME\Layouts dir *.gam /s > compare.txt That compare file will help me figure out what it does not like. Thank you. IGNORE - solved below. Reg Posted April 29 Report Share Posted April 29 As a test, I loaded your game file into mine, obviously I won't see screens etc... I have 4200 enteries. 12 x 350 pages. With this in mind, you say 530 layouts... ...I deleted my settings and tried again... ...all your layouts are there. You are on page 1 of 525. 525 x 8 = 4200 You were looking at the page count and took that as layouts. Kiosk is fine - always was. Go into settings and adjust your rows and columns and turn on FULL WIDTH that takes it out of portrait mode. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Sorry for bothering you about this, this is truly my mistake. Like i said, i like this frontend very much. Only for the stupidity of me, i almost dropped this frontend. Maybe you can adjust this in the frontend that it is more clear, for dumb people like me, that it says page in the frontend. Reg Posted April 29 Report Share Posted April 29 All good. Don't worry and BTW, I was not angry earlier if I was there would have been much swearing ! I can't do what you suggest as this is built for portrait cabs ( but you must switch to wide mode in that toggle to increase columns ) I am outta space as it is. Anyhow it's part of the journey - have fun with it - try out all the colours, themes, card effects and background effects. Remember you can adjust card sizes, styles. Also look all the way to right to learn some extra keys to help use it under the cog and even turn on TV mode if you want. Super secret - it even has an alarm clock you must try - click on the and set it for a couple of minutes. If you want to undo your embrassement post some pics on the main thread and hang aroudn to help others as a user that I hope you will be if you get stuck. Cheers.
