Jamie28J
Absolutely love this. Massive thanks to all involved. Not my era and quite disturbing how quickly you can burn through £500, but good fun to play and has kept me busy this weekend.

Anybody else can confirm credits are retained? It retains the pots properly from one emulator session to another (i.e. completely closing MVFME down and reopening it again). I've got all the pots maxed out on Ruby Slippers on £1 stake, takes £4000 from a factory reset at 2p per £1 spin for the Bronze, which seeds at £20 2 Fruit machine emulation content from the artist previously known as Degsy Degworth and the odd new thing here and there too - https://www.youtube.com/c/DegsyDegworth

If you think these are bad, try the more modern slots... same £2 play, same £500 jackpot, but with things like Ultra Spins and Fortune Spins. They remove the base game entirely, and it's possible to go hundreds of spins with no win. I'm not talking 'no big wins', I'm talking zero wins. Losing spins in a row. It's been discussed before but as volatile and nasty as these can be they are tame compared to the dross out there now. I think as bad as they are, there is some nostalgia for them as arcades - despite being less busy than ever - seem to be hell bent on skinting the player ASAP. I assume they want to tilt the player as quicky as possible, to find those susceptible to addiction quickly. Just rinse the addicts, don't bother catering to casuals. Basically you unzip the bpaks and place them into the bpak folder that is inside the main MVFME folder. J ok thanks i think i can manage that but what is the process for putting the unzipped bpac into the bpac folder how do you actually do this? jabbathehut
what about slingo machines you can have a spin for £200+ .Can't imagine the damage these machines have done in real life. I have only played demos of them but how can that be remotely legal.

Different question on the challenge time ran out but I still had 8 free spins .How is that handled.I finished the spins and gambled a bit got it to 390 but said couldn't upload score when I collected. The tournament is a great idea, but I had the same thing with it. The timer ran out during free spins, I thought it might time out and I'd lose the rest of the spins, but it let me finish them. Then I pushed spin, it ended the tournament, but then errored about uploading and didn't upload the score. I'm guessing it's something that needs deciding, either end tournament middle of spins or it to end as soon as the spins finish.

Nice to see though Interesting to see that they thought about and put code in for a situation that could realistically never, ever happen in the wild, as those pots are 100% going to be chosen once even one of them starts to look a bit tasty. Or heaven forbid one of them maxes out, the vultures would be all over it.
nails
heres a fine question - would it bew possible for players to post `ram files` ? so we could simply load up a maxed pots or buzzed machine ?

However i am not sure about this so I would wait until Hong Kong Phooey (you could have picked a shorter name Phooey) to confirm this

Once a game is installed on a T7 the BPAK is redundant. Think of BPAK as just a secure zip file. It contains the game, but once you install a game on a T7, it 'unzips' the game into it's own folder. You can delete the BPAK after. Edited April 13 by slotsmagic Attempting to quit gambling since January 1st 2025. Fishsta
This is incredible. Thank you so much for making this available. I note that there are graphics for security alarms and Door Open mode... can we access test/demo play? Where you can trigger features to test them out? Graham the goldfish
One thing I noticed was that wizard of oz implies you get a better % by using the autoplay. There's no mention in the help file of higher % for autoplay, though.

thealteredemu
It simply can’t affect the percentage just by using auto play, maybe it means changing stake improves it, it’s just not positioned very well. J

J When you use the autoplay on it, a box above appears which also states 'EXTRA % PAYOUT' but there's nothing in the help screens that actually say what that % is... I don't think they could or would write that if it wasn't true, but it's not explicitly said/. I think there is another game called 'The Cheshire Cat' which has the same 'feature'.
