MVFME V1.0 Released

Recommended Posts

Thanks for this, much appreciated. I will give it a go when I have a bit more spare tines as I don't think I've played any of these, if they are newer than 15 years old then I definitely haven't.

Was there a worms T7 game? I remember seeing a game once where you paid I think £20 per spin or may have been £10 and tue worms dropped down from the top of the screen and exploded etc. Just asking as I always saw people playing that but I was top busy with roulette 🤦🏻‍♂️ but it did look quite good.

Thanks again to all involved.

I can't get it to open the input boxes unfortunately for the tournament

That might be because it uses powershell to mask the password out. And it’s an elevated command as well. Still the fact it’s running on android itself is an achievement. Hmmm achievements, now that’s an idea 😉 MARVIN!!! I’ve got an idea lol

Firstly thanks very much to all involved in bringing us this emulator.

It certainly, will freshen up FME.

I do have an issue however. The emulator loads and the game loads, but the displays remain black. But I know the game has loaded, because I can insert notes and spin the reels etc. I hear the sound of the slot being played, but no visuals, just sounds. The two I've tried are the Monopoly one and the Wizard of Oz one.

I'm using files from Spa's uploads.

On night turn in work, so I'm on my Windows 10 laptop, will try my Windows 11 PC when I wake up tomorrow afternoon and report back if I have the same issue.

Just to quote myself.

I have it working fine on my Windows 11 PC. Only difference I did, was instead of just choosing to repair the 2nd MS file, I removed it and and reinstalled with the version in the folder.

Will take another look at my laptop tonight and try the reinstall way.

Thanks once again for this great emulator and I'm not fussed about any bugs, emulator options and features, I'm sure they will be ironed out and added, over the coming months and hopefully years.

Thanks again.

Having some fun with a few of these games, notably Hammer Horror and Rainbow Riches, but damn am I glad I stopped playing machines for real over 20 years ago, would have been a serious issue for me the speed you get through it.

Again just to say wonderful work on getting this working.

Worked perfectly first time, well done and thanks for the new emulator. Never touched one of these machines in my life. Just glad my playing days were when a tenner would last and hour and not a minute.

As an ex-machine player, it's only when you see them in the cold light of the emulator, stripped of the excitement of wagering cash, strictly for fun,  that you realise how much you were done over

I had to put £1000 into Ruby Slippers from a factory reset, with one jackpot and one "big win" along the way (so about 850 down) to get offered my first community cash feature.  It's on a slightly brutal 90% RTP and would benefit from a higher setting, not sure if this is possible, but still.

We have not plugged in the settings that you would get on the real machine yet. We are aware that you had a lot of settings and percentages and could lock to a single stake or enable 4. Currently it’s using all the default settings except for turn gamble on

Would be interesting to see but it plays fine as it is, seems a lot more generous than the real thing to be fair but if they're from a reset they will be.

They pretty much across the board install @ 94% on £2, they can be changed via machine setting on the actual machine, so if they seem happy, 94% is very decent!

There's a game called jackpot joker, a poker b3 game, that was hard coded on 96%, coiuld not be changed and had a gamble! Needless to say in the wild they were kind....

Could anyone give me a quick rundown on the T7 platform. Are they compensated machines ? If so, are the compensators shared across all machines on the cabinet?

Random and compensated for the games. Generally b3 random and Cat c compensated but there are some exceptions.

and there are no links between games on the ones on the emulator. But as things have not been fully investigated on the central nvram who knows for certain. There is of course the shared pots between older games which we have not put in yet

Thanks, I was not certain about a shared link as I note the credit is transferred across games (as long as you keep MVFME open), but I understand that credit is kept as a global across the games, meaning to say the compensator is only updated per game as you play through those credits. It's a really interesting era in FME you have opened up, looking forward to learning more as you progress.
