Far too many cat photos and videos In other news I finally got a double jackpot on the leaderboard game. I say double jackpot, I got a jackpot in the first minute or so from a £252 feature win (11 guaranteed wins, first 5 of those included a £100 and 2x£40) - which gambled out, and then a feature which paid £482 and I collected as if I'd gambled it and lost I'd have probably thrown my keyboard at my TV (I had only just changed my strategy on the leaderboard, I decided gambling all wins was making it too slow, so just had gamble wins over £5 on. I also collected the 3 symbol trigger when the gamble came in, and that is the one that paid £482 albeit from 'luckily' picking 3 hotels. You don't have to gamble for the 4x/5x symbols, you can get decent bonuses from the standard 3 symbol. I've actually had plenty of absolute crap bonuses from the hotels when I've gambled out to 5 symbols.) Edited April 13 by slotsmagic 2 1 Attempting to quit gambling since January 1st 2025. I thought I was in with a chance with the MEGA, plus I figured out when you have a 'sneak peak' you can select the others first so you get more picks, it went for £90 then I lost the gamble, ended up with £10 overall. GeorgeJG
Well I've just downloaded MVFME, incredible achievement. I can't imagine the levels of frustration trying to get things to work properly. It sounds nightmarish. Intel HD graphics 630 4G128MB + NVIDIA Quattro K1200 4GB, Windows 10, 3.6Ghz Intel Processor. This PC is getting on a bit now 7/8 years old at a guess, was pretty decent spec when I bought it, not sure how it stacks up now but all games ran very smoothly, no throttling issues. The titties still bounce on Oh Ah Dracula so I know it's genuine software. I've not actively tried to break anything, you can fire in fivers (v) pretty quick, no issues. Only slight gremlin was on exiting Oh Ah Dracula I had to use Ctrl+Alt+delete to get to task manager as it just hung when I clicked exit. However killing the bpak worked fine and we got back to game selection screen. So far pretty much flawless so massive thank you for this exciting development and powerful springboard to the future of FME. Loving the nostalgia of Top Trumps. I'll check out the tournament in a bit, food shopping awaits. Current challenge for myself, get the £500 on WPT. All in.
Fishsta
4 hours ago, slotsmagic said: Nope. No Barcrest / SG / L&W content on the T7 or T8 had them as far as I'm aware (although I'll confess I'm at least a year out of date on the T8 content now!). For Barcrest stuff with Premium Play you'd need Equinox cabinets or above, and for Bell Fruit you'd want Astra / Novomatic / Bell Fruit content that runs on either Firefox II, or QuNo. Although again I'm at least a year out of date with them as well, having smashed my cabinets up last year I do recall seeing that that MVFME was teased with an iPub looking photo or screenshot in the development thread... so perhaps those games may run at some point? Ooh Aah Dracula had £20 and £30 Mega Games, would that version be non-T7?
Graham the goldfish
I think the most underused facility on the t7 games was the odd option to be able to cancel a repeat chance. I never did it in the wild, but now its emulated it seemed to pay more with additional picks and features. I had a decent bash at the new emulator today. It worked flawlessly for me, so good work! One feature that would be nice, that is on mfme, would be a cash in/out stats to keep count of how much virtual anxiety and depression i need to induce.

Blimey pal, good to see you still around. So did I. I'm sure the earlier versions of that Wizard of Oz game that had mega spins were in older cabinets in some arcades. But I could be wrong. Do you have any idea how to or if you can access Demo Play / Feature Test / Door Open mode? I can see graphics for the door open in the emulator resources. spa
Good to see you too I can't see a way of getting a game into demo, even a door open. Would be nice to get a door open so we can look at the game options, change %s, turn gambles on etc. Saying that, i've not looked to hard, might be worth pulling up a game and looking in the test files and see if a 0 can be changed to a 1 maybe? Sort of an on/off thing....? I will go and have a look. Back then, most games had a big spin option. Golden Dragon had one, ment you just needed 2 scatters for the feature. Ladbrookes and Corel used Barcrest games, Hills and Betfred used Bluerpint and Inspired (or whatever they were called back then). The blue print games also had big bet fortune spins, can remember playing wish upon a jackpot on £20 spins. 2 https://www.facebook.com/groups/264122764904452/?epa=SEARCH_BOX Fruit Machine Discussion - Facebook Group. Have you tried "automatically hide the task bar" setting in Windows? Only I have that set which allows the window to overlap the task bar, if it wasn't set, I would imagine there would be an issue as it does overlap a bit. I have finished
Hi. Mainly for HongKongPhooey, Is it possible for MVFME to make the little attract sound effects like real T7s do? So when you're on the menu, it randomly goes through the installed games making noises like the hahahahahaha of rainbow ritches and the funny martion guy in money mad martions says something, also boogie nights did a little clip of the song or is that going to be in a future version? Might be worth retrying that part and checking for any permissions that might be preventing it's install.

No worries - it should be me apologising because I was a bit vague If you messed up wild picks - for example you had £20 there but chose the wrong reels and ended up with £10 - and the game was random, there would be no way of returning that 'lost' £10 to the player at some point in the future, because by definition each spin on a random game is independent, which means it doesn't know or care what has happened previously. The game would only achieve the stated RTP% in the help pages if no player ever messed up wild picks. You'd have to show a percentage range in the help pages instead, or have a statement along the lines of 'THIS GAME RETURNS 92% WITH OPTIMAL PLAY' or something, which is a bit shit and would alienate a lot of players. By using compensation you can make the game remember that lost £10 and modify future play to ensure that money is given back to the player somehow. There are loads of different ways this can be done. Therefore the game will return the stated RTP%. Similarly, if the community feature is triggered and one of the slaves gets disconnected and the player doesn't get taken in, the money they would have won from the feature (or the fact that they have missed a feature when they were eligible) will be remembered and that 'value' will remain on the compensator. So effectively you can kind of 'force' the communities to an extent, by dud picking wild picks and refusing repeat chances, but it's far easier for these games to chuck you a big win rather than a traditional machine. Messing up wild picks doesn't necessarily make the community feature more likely. It might just give Bonus Spins more often after wild picks, or give 2 wild picks a bit more often.

wearecity
The other thing with the runtimes, I uninstalled the versions I had installed, when it gave the option to repair/uninstall. Then I installed them from fresh. Worked afterwards on my Windows 11 PC, but still didn't work on my Windows 10 Laptop, after doing that. There's so many configurations out there, it seems to be touch and go, whether it works or not. Frustrating but understandable, with it being the first public release. As a last resort, I'd switch off all Windows protection and Anti-Virus programs, when installing and running the first time and watch out for any pop ups, about accessing networks. I had one of the slots, ask for network permissions. Edited April 14 by wearecity
