Coskey Fruits Posted February 1 Report Share Posted February 1 Been chatting to @vectra666 requesting a layout and asking him to please amend the Electrocoin's Big 7 to to a higher jackpot value. He says he only has the £8 token ROM version. Just wondering if we have a MAB systems or £10 cash ROM for this. If we do have the £10 cash ROM, in which Cherries are £5 and Bars are £2 and Melons are £1 with the jackpot at £10.00 for three red 7s, is this ROM also plagued by the GAL security chip? Be cool to see a £10 Big 7 along side the £10 cash Bar-X Please message @vectra666 with any working ROMS for this. We already have the £4c and £4t version. Thanks. The layout is available within @Chopaholic's thread on a video he made about the emptier for it.. Whilst I do love my lo-techs, the orginal big 7 is just as boring after a while, just waiting for the sequence, and well, bugger all else really. Each to their own i guess do know that hardly any electrocoin lo tech roms work properly, let alone MAB roms, and I don't think any chuzzy kits work at all in MFME, so for now we kinda have to make do with what we got, would be nice if roms do become available, but i'd imagine what we got is what we got Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

But I believe the rom gets scrambled by the mab system and then unscrambled, it’s not just a plugged in rom it has its own daughter board that plugs into the Electrocoin motherboard. logopolis Posted February 2 Report Share Posted February 2 I found this MAB Systems rom which is titled VivaLasVegas. Notepad says MAB Systems, so it can't be Viva Las Vegas which is a Barcrest. And that is why I've been ignoring your requests (demands) for help and layouts despite me having some ROMs running that might be of interest (they are out there if you fancy looking yourself and trying). Try being less demanding and SHOUTY. Perhaps you aren't aware of online etiquette but using upper case the way you do is rude. But ending your thread with : 'END OF THREAD.......I GUESS!!!' ... as well as slagging off some of the best alternatives currently available, is the sort of comment I expect a child to make. Throwing their toys out of the pram because they can't get what they want. Layout designers are unpaid and do the best the can with the tools they have, and the emulator author is sadly no longer with us. If you aren't happy with the fact you can't magically get everything you want for free when the tools to do it don't even exist, then I'd suggest you find something else to do. As for the ROMs I mentioned that might be of interest, then as per your charming PM to me where you don't need 'jack shit' from me... fair enough. Happy hunting. Machine suppliers don't generally sell to the general public and the ones that do are few and far between.
