qfruits
Anyone remember the machine where you play for Superholds, wedge it and cancel and it jumps a step? Possibly a Bell fruit and possibly cop the lot or something Cant Remember it exactly Also seen a post for BIG 50 but cant find the emulator for it, any chance someone can point me in the right direction? Timbo
Just click on the downloads at the top of the screen and click on the mfme download button. It should be the only emulator you will need to run the Big 50 layout if it is by JPM. Edited December 4, 2025 by Timbo

Wasn't it LOTR? Suffice to say, I wasn't in on it at the time lol.
logopolis
Snake Rattle And Roll had the Super Feature actually on the board so it was a good empty. Lord Of The Rings did super hold in normal play so it was a lot harder to empty. Probably best to get 2 or 3 and leave it, as it could take it all back without awarding a super hold. Another machine to have the super hold was Take Note. I think there was a yet another machine too.

MikeyMonster
I thought this worked on many more BFM's in the day, just as has been posted, some were harder to get Superhold on.
thealteredemu
It would be best to check some of these on a build with iPac etc. Keyboards have ghosting so this could be why none work as I can’t believe we don’t have any that work. But we might just be unlucky J
thealteredemu
Not all keyboards have ghosting. More expensive ones potentially have anti ghosting. J

I have to say, can anyone with a straight face stand by it being "a error" i mean reel positions are recorded and shown to the player without mistake. so a machine offering a super hold, to then not only allow, but recognize the incorrect reel position without error and award the win? i mean c'mon. put any s4 etc into test and check the reel positions and sync?? tell me how thats not deliberate? living the dream

Yes it's strange that this would ever work because the processor controls the reels not the other way round which would mean the processor was somehow taking notice of a jumped reel position. logopolis
Also the fact that this trick was made originally for Snake Rattle & Roll where the super hold feature was actually on the board and easy to obtain. Then LOTR came out and they knew enough to take super hold off the feature board but they never fixed the trick because hardly anybody knew it still as it was not widely known. cliffc
Hi The only machine i know that this worked on was BFM's High Lo Silver i had one near me that used to use the trick on often. I did hear but cannot definitely confirm that the trick would also work on the club version of the machine
