Payout configuration

I have poundstretcher(ace) 10p play £4jackpot layout by Pook on my cabinet but it’s wanting to pay out in 10ps only. So for wins over a pound, say £1.10 it pays 11 x 10p. I know the actual machine used to pay £1 coins. Is this because the emulator thinks it’s low on £1 coins? is there any way to solve this issue as my hopper setup is £1 and 10p hopper configuration

Also, is there any way to change the percentage of each different layout or is this already chosen when a layout is created?

Thanks in advance

Yeah it gets a bit much having a tray full of 10ps when you collect a few quid, especially on games where tokens are set to 10ps as well 😂

Ok thanks I will have a play around with a few and see if I can alter the percentage payout. Do you mean in the drop down menus when the gam file is loaded?

I have a £1 and 20p hopper, but changed the roms on my £6 tokens one to cash, so 6x£1 in stead of 30x 20p.

ROMS are here, generally the ones with a C on are cash. 2-step-bellfruit-rom directory listing

Yeah, or you can edit the .gam file in notepad.

Tell me more!

For newer machines you can quite often change percentage by loading the .gam file into notepad. Just right click on the gam file and open with notepad.
You will get something like this…..

System IMPACT
DIP 1 00000000
Delay 25000
Stake 4
Jackpot 4
Percentage 10
SetPercent 90
TotalIn 11790
TotalOut 10402
Played 36
Layout Snakes.dat
Sound SLaddersS.BIN
ROM SLadders1.hex
ROM SLadders2.hex

You change the number on percentage AND setpercent. For instance 80% is percentage 5 and setpercent is 80. 82% would be 6 and 82. 7 and 84 etc. Not sure how low it’ll go. Probably 1 and 72?

Do you know which number checkbox is the £1? Thanks

No idea I just added all 4 (12,13,14,15)then played for winning over £1 and it worked.

I could probably check by process of elimination tomorrow when I’m back at home
