thealteredemu
It is an exact clone, so in theory it those values from Stop n Step could be changed to match the £2 Stop n Flip. It's likely it was just the jackpot value, don't think the lower values are different. Was the jackpot tune the same, I think it was. Not sure if we have access to better artwork? johnparker007
That artwork cleans up alright - still need a bottom glass image from somewhere though! 3 [ Arcade Simulator ] Pre-alpha installer: https://tinyurl.com/2kcrkprh | Donation info: https://tinyurl.com/yzvgl4xo [ Community Drive ] The drive: http://tinyurl.com/yckze665 [ Fruit Machine Database ] Initial google sheets (WIP): https://tinyurl.com/2c5znxzz [ Fruit Machine ROM Archive ] The archive: https://tinyurl.com/3jhzbueb [ Fruit Machine Settings/Tests Guide ] https://tinyurl.com/yuebw8b5 [ MAME (fixes/improvements) ] Commits: https://github.com/johnparker007/mame/commits/master/?author=johnparker007 [ MFME Launch ] Source code: https://github.com/johnparker007/MFMELaunch [ Oasis ] Source code: https://github.com/johnparker007/Oasis [ ROM Hacking Tutorials ] Index: https://tinyurl.com/4yw4zfw5 [ Sound ROM Editor ] Source code: https://github.com/johnparker007/SoundRomEditor
johnparker007
Here's a poor quality image of the clone machine showing bottom glass - there's only a classic layout available for that machine... 1 [ Arcade Simulator ] Pre-alpha installer: https://tinyurl.com/2kcrkprh | Donation info: https://tinyurl.com/yzvgl4xo [ Community Drive ] The drive: http://tinyurl.com/yckze665 [ Fruit Machine Database ] Initial google sheets (WIP): https://tinyurl.com/2c5znxzz [ Fruit Machine ROM Archive ] The archive: https://tinyurl.com/3jhzbueb [ Fruit Machine Settings/Tests Guide ] https://tinyurl.com/yuebw8b5 [ MAME (fixes/improvements) ] Commits: https://github.com/johnparker007/mame/commits/master/?author=johnparker007 [ MFME Launch ] Source code: https://github.com/johnparker007/MFMELaunch [ Oasis ] Source code: https://github.com/johnparker007/Oasis [ ROM Hacking Tutorials ] Index: https://tinyurl.com/4yw4zfw5 [ Sound ROM Editor ] Source code: https://github.com/johnparker007/SoundRomEditor
fruitsnappa
The Stop N Flip glass looks like it could be multiple stakes and jackpots. ᗧ···ᗣ···ᗣ···ᗣ···ᗣ··
thealteredemu
It could be that there was a 10p £4 token jackpot of this. There was a 10p £3 token version of Stop n Step, I’m fairly certain about that J

steelfix1
I used to play these system 80 BWB's at the same time as the Rat-Race MPU3 and clones, Stop n Flip was one of the pictures I struggled to find in over a decade, the only thing that appered was the top glass over on the Mecca the same as whats already been posted and before that a set of keys to one from an old arcade. Step n Skip was mostly £1.50p Jackpot on a 2p play mainly and in many arcades and there was a rare £3 jackpot 10p play I believe, it bigger brother Stop n Flip was a not as popular and I do remember the ones i played where £2 jackpot on 5p play. there was one in the arcade on New Brighton and there was 2 side by side in Blackpool Funhouse, i'm unsure if they where still there at the time of it burning down but they were defo there around 1987-88. thealteredemu
They had two 2p play £2 in one of the bottons fayre arcades back in the day. So much good stuff around when I first started travelling to play. I started travelling around 1988, so I would have been 16!! Wow I feel old J
steelfix1
Hmm maybe the ones I found were £2jp/2p play then and I'm getting the 5p mixed up with something else like Superwin, bloody long time to think back but its crazy that most can remember exactly where most machines where sited like yesterday. steelfix1
Most Step n Skips i played were £1.50JP, the rarer £3 Jackpot one is here in this pic that appears from time to time, pretty sure it orginated from Ron BF74.
