thescientist
Evening all, Hopefully this is in the right section... I've been playing CCNR £250 for a while now, hoping to force it - I can see the stats look healthy, lots in, not much out. So far I've been collecting 20p on a three bag feature to keep wins to a minimum but I wondered if there was a specific way to play it to encourage the cashpot / jackpot? And a side note, I just got £66 on millionaires row and it played the jackpot sequence - how come? I played the £6 jackpot one a lot as a teenager, but haven't played the club one much. A lot of Bell Fruit club machines over the years have played a variation of the jackpot sequence on a win over £50. Always felt a bit stupid to me, although I guess when the pub jackpot was limited to say £6 that £50 would be a lot of money. In later years when pub jackpots were £70 it seemed silly making a song and dance about £50 Anyway as for playing strategy, I'm not expert on these, but seem to recall the basic strategy for the cashpot was to play specifically for it, just hold cashpot symbols on or above the winline and ignore other wins. Might be worth a read through this big release thread to see opinions? https://www.desertislandfruits.com/forum/index.php?/topic/5888-club-cops-n-robbers-sc2-£75-£250/ 1 Happy non-gambler since 1st January 2025! Still happy to dump ROMs for people and that sort of stuff
Mort
I would skip the £250 and play the £200 or £150. The £250 had a different BFM Project ID and plays really tight. I believe @Boulderdash tried to force the Cashpot from it, but it never came out after £1000s IN. There is a different £250 ROM I think, I have been meaning to try and get that one loaded.

nails
the machine has a block and wont let you win over it unless its JP happy. collecting the £66 wont have helped at all if your forcing. from memory the cashpots need to be full and at least half from reset. from this point they can drop when it feels like it, though playing for them by holding them on the reels/one above is the best method. i read the guide on the old CMA by Chris Smedley years ago, and won £250 from £6 in after reading his guide !! once you have dropped the pots, play for the jackpot. you will know as on a £250 jp machine i believe the block is £75. get over that and you are `going to Ibiza` hope that helps
Damian6666
Hi everyone i used to play this a lot over the years most jackpots aswell £75 £100 and £250 when cashpots were full and coins were droping into cashboxes hold cashpots on or above the winline and it will eventually give you nudges for the cashpot

thescientist
Thanks for all the replies! Yes the £66 I got was before I tried to force it, I was collecting wins via the "fine" part of the bonus. After that I started just collecting whatever the first win was when the feature started. Both cashpots are full and it's sat at 71% at the moment - I guess I'll stick with trying to get it on the reels then Interesting about the £200 and less versions being a bit happier, I'll have a look. I'll check out that other thread too.
thescientist
LOL, I just downloaded the £150 version and within THREE spins it nudged in grapes and gambled straight up to £150. Back to the £250 one then to see if I can get the cashpot! Edited April 21 by thescientist Added another screenshot showing cash in / out and credits played. Chopaholic
There's also a deep dive into this on my channel, which was a result of the @Mort mods being released. Also has a lot of information about ROM revisions and suchlike. 1 Fruit machine emulation content from the artist previously known as Degsy Degworth and the odd new thing here and there too - https://www.youtube.com/c/DegsyDegworth

It was probably the BEST way to compensate a club machine. Someone with knowledge - or the balls to climb it out on earlier machines like Club Attraction/Explosion - could make their money without ruining the game for the casual, which would of course then fill the machine up again for the pro player. It was around the time of these later chips that I stopped bothering with BFM club machines.

I'm basing this on hazy memories of a Lee Dixon charity golf day about 20 years ago, where a chap in a wheelchair, no doubt a beneficiary of the day, was playing the machine in the clubhouse while we had breakfast, and by the time we'd finished our round he'd gone and so had both the cashpots. Love to know if anyone else here had managed to get both in the wild?
thescientist
Interesting video, thanks for sharing! I played the £200 one and got the cashpot after about £10. After play was about £70 from millionaires row. I wonder what the biggest streak is from these machines
