Nothing works

Hello guys, I've been dying to play this on my PC for ages, on my old laptop it loaded and nothing worked, so I've bought another laptop which runs windows 10 as other didn't, unfortunately nothing is working, it will let me walk around the arcade and look at all the fruits in attract mode but not play them.

I have pressed every key on laptop and clicked every button on mouse but nothing.

All videos are black screen but not bothered about those as really want to play fruits, on my old laptop it would allow you to go into each machine but not actually play them.

Please, please help as it looks excellent and I've been wanting to play it for a very long time. Thanks in advance.

Do you have mfme installed?

Do you have video attracts enabled in settings?

Good morning

Thanks  to you both for getting back to me, in answer to both questions, the laptop I bought (2nd hand) has the following spec taken from Ebay where I bought it: AMD E2 300M APU with Radein HD graphics 1.8GHz and has 4gb Ram.

I don't know much about computers sorry, yes I did download MFME first and that will play stand alone layouts (only a couple).

Will have to double check now if I have video attract mode on in settings, should it be on or off?

Thanks again for the help the arcadec simulator looks amazing and i can see a lot of hard work has gone into it. Appreciate any help

Have just tried loading it again and it says 171 machines which some are fruits and some videos, all fruits in attract mode but nothing will let you on them and also all videos are still black, also says it is not responding do I want to close it

It sounds like that laptop may be a bit low spec, so initially you want to turn the attract videos off.

Then, once you walk around relatively smoothly (since the attract videos aren't slowing things down) without any crashes, you will have to exclude the Arcade SIm folder from your antivirus, by following these steps:

Sorry it's all  a bit of a ball ache, it's because I had to do some low level stuff to control the MFME program to run the fruities, which Windows doesn't like! :)

hi I have tried everything and cannot get working, when looking at windows defender I cannot find the part you refer to even though I have screenshots of it, it looks nothing like the screenshots so am unable to find what im looking for, in the arcade now I can walk around but it doesnt  even come up with the fruit machine name now as it did before, I have uninstalled and reinstalled but made no difference, on the settings bit it doesnt have the option to turn off the attract mode.

i have now donated on the site in the hope i can download individual machines to play on mfme but days im not allowed to do it, so 24 hours later I have one game that I can play, im well gutted

It does sound like you have a laptop that will struggle with AS. You are now badged up though, so enjoy!
