Played the 10p £100 version in ReelFruits a long while ago. About £80 in and I get MR up to something silly like £98.60. Now I know I know I should have taken it, but someone I was with (no, not a shark) suggested it had to give the £100. I knew it would fine me, and fine me it did. Luckily only about £20 I think, so broke even and it was fun to do. But seriously... for the sum of £1.40 why not just award the jackpot?! So contrary to the myths out there, it wasn't possible to get a CP and then a JP close together. The machine would force a distance of play between that. You would just recover your stake and then a bit more from the normal game after getting the CP. Thanks for all the interesting info in this thread. Can the locations for the compensator values be found for this game? It would be interesting to see their current values and how they increment per £1 in, and maybe even try poking them with new values.
thealteredemu
Just use the mfme debugger, you can view the live ram state and you should be able to identify some interested bits for sure and poke them with values. Sometimes I've found that the ram is protected and poking will be temporary as the value will be checked and re-updated. I think this is Scorp2 tech and I believe the roms are encrypted, but I've not really looked into any Scorp2 stuff personally. J

Indeed. I've been doing that on the £250 machine for about £2,000 and it refuses to pay either that way or from MR, which leads me to believe it's the dirty ferry ROM. Damian6666
which layout is it? have you done diagnostics to see which roms are in?
Boulderdash
I've given up with the £250 machine. It might not be the ferry ROM with the 67% RTP or whatever it was, but it definitely refuses to pay the cashpot. Unlike the £200 machine, which has offered it from the reels and nudges in Millionaires Row. Can't get it to pay the reserve as well, but I'm sure they would do this in the wild. thealteredemu
It might be that the game was tightened up and any player exploits patched or balanced. When the machine boots what version is the 250 one running and is it a later version than the 200? J
thealteredemu
Or maybe it’s just that the 250 version profile didn’t do this. Though I’m pretty sure the one is our local was 250, I could be wrong about that though J
