PAC Drive Bulk Configuration?

Hello all,

Excuse my noob question, I'm trying to help my brother out who has just had his external drive corrupted without a backup and has lost over a years worth of configurations on his MFME DIY fruit machine.

He was showing me what he has had to do for each game, something about adding buttons onto each that then get activated with his physical buttons via the PAC drive and setting up hoppers/coin values like 1 pound binaries etc.

Is there anywhere I can find pre-configured ones or is that not a thing? Or even a script that could be run to do them on bulk? He's quite upset about it all and I've reminded him of the importance of backing these things up in the future.

Hope you can help, thank you all.

Ouch!!!

I know how much work it takes to set up layouts on a cab... Mine is set up for over 2000 layouts, and that has taken me a couple of years to do.

The only thing that helped me was to make a Pacdrive template. Once I set the buttons in a layout, I load the Pacdrive template and click Config in Pacdrive settings to fill in the lamp fields. Other than that, it's a lot of time-consuming work.

If he can find someone else with a similar set up and copy their layout folder that would help.

For setting up the coin inputs, this is what I use now to set things up. CREDIT BUTTONS TEST.zip Run this in a separate MFME window and put in to Edit mode, and you can copy and paste the buttons into your layout to test different settings.

Thank you so much for your reply, I will let him know about that buttons layout and your template tip.  I think I'll have to learn this myself and help him out one by one.
