davep180
One of the best spectrum releases ever! You could even change the teachers names to ones at your school, and I was of the school age people to do just so!
dondplayer
Remember this one but never really got on with it. IIRC had a fast loading system from tape, x2 I think 1 Your box will be CASHPOT
Reg
@davep180 I too was guilty of this... @dondplayer It was a hard game - this one I was OK at in the video - the sequel Back to Skool, I was absolutely tragic at !
wearecity
Great game. I too used to change the teachers and pupils name to my own school, although it was quite time consuming doing it, so not every time. I remember not really having a clue how to play it (but it was fun anyway), then I saw a guide in a magazine, so followed it to complete it. Even with the guide, you still had a lot of work to do though to finish it. IIRC, the finish was typically poor for this day and ages, it played a piercing ditty, while flashing the screen, then just restarted. No message or anything like that. Pook
This was a banger of a game, used to catapult the shit out of that swot. Microsphere loves to recycle their sounds, loads of crossover from Wheelie here. Edited April 23, 2023 by Pook
johnparker007
Nice game this, they knew their target demographic I have been dabbling with an idea of doing a 'blocky' shoot'em up for the Speccy on and off for a few years. I'd made a 8x4 Atari 2600 background style system that avoided colorclash, but moved to this new technique provided by a coder Denis, allows avoiding color clash and plenty of sprites, game will prob be done in like 10 years lol, got to code in z80 assembler for maximum speed, so it's a bit of a ballache to write... 2 [ Arcade Simulator ] Pre-alpha installer: http://arcadesimulator.net | Known Issues: https://tinyurl.com/yz4uom2e | Donation info: https://tinyurl.com/yzvgl4xo [ Community Drive ] The drive: http://tinyurl.com/yckze665 [ Fruit Machine Database ] Initial google sheets (WIP): https://tinyurl.com/2c5znxzz [ MFME Launch ] Source code: https://github.com/johnparker007/MFMELaunch [ Oasis ] Source code: https://github.com/johnparker007/Oasis [ Sound ROM Editor ] Source code: https://github.com/johnparker007/SoundRomEditor
