Cop The Lot

Well definitely emulated.

Looks like the layout for it, is possibly from the batch released just after v9.4 was leaked.

The red lamps were an issue back then, as a sweep of the lamps, would wipe them out.

Such a well known machine back in the day, that seemed to be everywhere.

Definitely a modern makeover for this one would be great.

Another game from this era that definitely needs a makeover is Royle Family.

Yes.

I got Royley screwed over by one of them in the Crystal Rooms Leicester Square.

I believe there's an emptier or similar for it, it took about £30 off me before it even gave me a board.

There are a few programs for this but it seems you did play this after it had been emptied.

This was emptiable on super hold, they had that slipping bug like Snake Rattle n Roll and Lord of the Rings, I believe others from this era were also affected.

Don't think we have any that work in the emulator, though that could be the way that button inputs are read in mfme.  Be nice to get a set that are known workers to try out for sure ;)

I would have thought there would have been some BFM bits in Loo's massive resource releases.

It worked on Take Note as well. We actually have program 1.1 but it doesn't work for some reason. What you said about how button inputs are read might be the problem. We also have Cop The Lot 1.1 but they are Scorpion 5 roms and the layout is Scorpion 4.

Yeah, I believe that's the case for sure as we have £15 versions of Lord of the Rings and I can't imagine they got a rechip?   Maybe if you had a keyboard that read multiple key presses at once.  I know some keyboards only do so many, be great to get to the bottom of this.

JP might be the guy to ask about this actually as he might know the inner working of how inputs are dealt with and if it's different to how the machine would read them etc.

The Crystal Rooms is now all boarded up and part of the Hippodrome casino.

Sad times.
