i'm despairingly trying to get wobbler up and running before spending the next week trying to figure out the lamps etc... god knows how @wearecity does it so easily!! just baffles me!!

anyways i don't know what this error is and how to get around it so i can get into test mode for starters..

if anyone has the answer please share, if anyone wants to map the lamps for me while i do the art please form a queue haha

Not sure if this is the same error message, but sometimes, when i'd downloaded an MPU5 game from the legacy section. In the cofing settings, it would have service and cash door with the number 0 in it. And when you tried opening said doors, it would give you this error message.

Basically, long winded way of saying - make sure Service and Cash door numbers aren't set to 0 in the config settings window, and the correct numbers are there. Once you've put the correct numbers in you'll probably have to RAM clear.

It seems to be very sensitive to wrong button presses.

I have it to asking to read meters with the following set up.

Button 32 is start

Well, the solution for my issue was the hopper being serial, works fine in open/closed door for me. Using buttons 32 - 39 for Start/Hold/Collect etc

very much obliged to you guys.. behind every one of my dx's is a much more informed and knowledgable classic creator!! that's why this ones kicking me about a bit haha..

Other MPU5's are let it boot in open door, at read meters press cancel then press Test, this doesn't seem to be having it so probably a non standard number, i'm slowly getting through the list!

Don't forget this era of MPU5 will probably have 2 test buttons - one on the MPU5 and one mounted under the reel shelf. You need to hold one and press the other to enter test mode - wasn't sure if you were aware based on your post :)

Trying to remember how I do it, I think I set the standard test button number (should be standard as it's on the MPU5 itself) with a keyboard shortcut and then click the other buttons?

Yeah, it's caught me out before, I know Reflex have a similar design.

Only luck i've had is holding the Test 2 button (24) & pressing start, it clicks as if it's going into test then just goes into normal demo mode, if i hold the other test button as well then press start i get the dreaded "Unused input" alarm on button 0.

I must say, I'd just come back home, after two 12 hour shifts this weekend and knew that while progress was being made, other hurdles, were still going to be faced, to get this in test mode etc... as it was really sensitive to the slightest wrong set up.

But I'd had enough screwing around with it lol.

So I'm pleased to wake up and see that it's been sorted now.

I’ve done no shifts or anything harder than mild gardening!! I just couldn’t cope haha at least you had a fair excuse!! But yes it’s fantastic work and thanks to you and @Matty.n for your swift help, perhaps you can be known as the 777th emergency service hahah
