A true JPM classic for this one - Snakes & Ladders.

Thanks for the video, entertaining stuff.

Sonic would be another good one, once Pook releases his updated version. Not as in-depth a game as Snakes & Ladders, but still a classic that deserves a run out.

One I've been wanting to do for a while, and brought to you courtesy of a shiny new DX by @slotsmagic :)

The £1000 in RAM+GAM file is over in the Layout RAM + GAM file area.

Did happy rams for this version and the 10 quid one, it plays a really good game but will try and fight you.

If anyone wants it I'll sling it up in the ram+gam section?

Could of sworn I did put them up unless @Reg the sneaky git is playing games and deleted them hahaha

I believe it had side artwork but I dragged it off in Edit Mode as it's a pain in the bum for my screen setup.

You can check yourself in Edit Mode and see if you can drag it back into view :)

Found the £15 version of Fort Boyard so I had a play from reset.

70 in and knocked back 5 IMs - went for just over 50 - with knock back wins 59 out.

Next two boards were dead but I played on to see what Chop meant about nudging in nothing when cash repeater active - yeah I see the issue :(

But whilst I was doing that got a cash streak followed by an IM board so another cash streak - neither of which were above JP.

Anyway 84 in for 98 out and remember that's from reset - had someone else played the first 20 quid would have been quite a win.

But as Chop said with a grand through it running roughly percentage there could be some good profit on these.

Love the Fort Boyard sounds - brings back some memories.

So basically I've been playing this as a casual player would more or less - taking decent wins, etc.

Anyway about 290 in it gave an IM out of the blue so I decided to do the method again. 5 IMs later (the second took ages to come in) I took a cash streak for 55 I think it was. With the odd small wins I had to take I probably came out less than 20 up on that session.

I can't see how you can do these without probably needing the plug at some point. One board i had went into the middle pretty quick (not IM) and I never got the chance to nudge away a JP symbol and didn't have many nudges but the cash repeater was active. I had to take a £4 win that time.

I've been playing without plugging, the reel blasts tend to hit the lower values first from my experience, so while taking blasts with JP in view is risky, I've not had it force it on me (yet).

The second red board always took a while on those later programs. When you take the cash repeater, the machine gives you a chance to get the next higher cash amount. Being that buzzed up, it will often win that gamble just to mess you up even more.

It's definitely doable without plugging, there were some times when I was playing the one in the snooker club that plugging was simply not an option, but it was still a profitable venture.

TBH it doesn't stitch you up nearly as often as it could do, in fact I am slightly starting to wonder if the last chip I played in the snooker club is an even later one than emulated here, because the one in the snooker club could be a right arsehole for heading straight for the centre and then hitting something chunky off a single reel blast, which the emulated one seems less inclined to do.

What ROM revision are you playing in Fort Boyard @dondplayer?

As per the video there are some boards where it will play the twat, but overall it's easy to see ways it could be a lot worse, makes you wonder why it took Barcrest so many rechips and still not get it right!

Couple of questions regarding Lotta Luck / Fort Boyard / etc:

Can it go IM if you get skill challenge ? What I mean is would a board that was due to give IM ever offer something you could lose like the skill continue ?

Do you need to go to the bother of playing the boards to see if they are IM and knocking them back - say after the first two IMs ? I mean why not (after say first two IM boards) just plough through say a tenner killing off any boards straight away ?

I think the layout on the legacy section uses the FBOY 0.3 roms which is a later program. There are FBOY 0.1 roms in one of the downloads from loo.

I'm sure the feature can go red even after landing on a ? and getting skill continue. You need at least 3 red boards for the middle streak to give £45 - £60. After you killed off the 3rd red board then you can just let the machine go in for the middle streak.

I’m not even sure if you need to refuse 3 invincible boards.  Wonder how it responds by just refusing jackpot boards?

J

Possibly, but I have tried the method refusing 1 red board and then going in the middle on the 2nd red board and the streak gave something between £15 and £25.
