Tips - RAM Reset Errors

Hi All

Here are a few tips relating to RAM reset Errors

Thanks go to the people who have helped me over the years with these. 

 

48 on/off ALM

Just leave the machine for 2 mins!

Pug Life (SCORPION5) (You also need to apply the counter fix for this machine after RAM reset!
The Winsons (SCORPION5)

 

1) Go in to Design Edit mode

2) Open the configuration screen

- Untick the DES boxes under "Coin Mech - Note Acc - Hopper 1 - Hopper 2"

- Hit Ram Rest

3) Use the start button to go through the date/time sequence. 

4) When the display says "setting up coin mech"
 
- Tick the DES boxes & Trusted Boxes under "Coin Mech - Note Acc - Hopper 1 - Hopper 2"

- Open the service door [S  Door] and wait until you see the words Reboot, and you can close the service door, and it will work.

5) Exit Design mode

Just close the machine and reload

(After procedure close/re-open machine or reset using CTRL+R to fix coin refill issue)

1) Go in to Design Edit mode

2) Open the configuration screen

- Hit RAM Reset

- Tick the Trusted Boxes under "Coin Mech - Note Acc - Hopper 1 - Hopper 2"

- Open the service door [S  Door] and wait until you see 'Read Meters', you can now close the service door, come out of edut mode, and it will work.

5) Exit Design mode

 

MECH NOTE ERR 15

Family Guy (SCORPION4)

After RAM Reset
Just quit and re-open to fix

 

Note A/C Error / 10p Coin Mech Error

Cash Crusader (SCORPION5)
Game of Gnomes (SCORPION5)
Sharks of the Caribbean SCORPION5)

1) Go in to Design Edit mode

2) Open the configuration screen

- Hit RAM Reset

- Tick the Trusted Boxes under "Coin Mech - Note Acc - Hopper 1 - Hopper 2"

- Open the service door [S  Door] and wait until you see "Trusted messages scrolling", and you can close the service door, and it will work.

5) Exit Design mode

1) Go in to Design Edit mode

2) Open the confguration screen

- Hit RAM Reset

- Tick the Trusted Boxes under "Coin Mech - Note Acc - Hopper 1 - Hopper 2"

- Open the service door [S  Door] and wait until you see check payout, and you can close the service door, and it will work.

5) Exit Design mode

RAM reset doesn't always fix Mech Note Error 15. Some roms require either switch 3 or 5 bottom row to be turned on which fixes the problem. 

Another one for Scorpion 5 is the Security Error which occurs when you change different jackpot roms in the layout. The RAM reset will fix this.
