Road Hog Mad
Just wondering... A computer power on button, can that be wired to a LED button (the type we use on our cab builds)?
Amusements
I don't see why not. All it does is short out 2 pins on the board. 1 Treat every day like your last, because one day it will be! Fruit Machine <<<My new project!
appstrader
Your LED button ideally will need to be wired into the board and not a joystick interface, that way you can press to shutdown also. Just power the LED from a separate power supply unless you want to take the power from the PC PSU and it will take 5v or 12v MFME & MAME Frontend software https://fruitcade.co.uk
Road Hog Mad
I'll take a pic of it later, as I'll be moving it into a different cab in the near future I think it will be best as a button. Currently it works to power on/off the machine, it's lights up as well as blinking when the computer is doing something.

appstrader
Two wires will be power you should be able to meter these, 12v 0v, or 5v 0v Another two wires will be the switch press the button with your multimeter on continuity and the meter should beep on the press, if it beep and goes silent when you press the button it works in the wrong direction MFME & MAME Frontend software https://fruitcade.co.uk

appstrader
If you have a clean pair yes, provided it is normally open going closed when you press the button. MFME & MAME Frontend software https://fruitcade.co.uk
