  1. Hiya folks, I'm just getting my head around using MFME 20.1. I've been very pleasantly surprised. At first, I just downloaded the ROMs, unzipped them and kept them all in a seperate folder. I've just tried putting all of the unzipped files within the MFME folder. A couple of wav files needed to be overwritten, so I'm guessing I'm going to have a couple of sounds that belong to a different machine than I'm playing. Can I just ask what the general consensus is on this? I've noticed that the "Game Manager" within MFME keeps a track of where the ROM/layout is stored on the PC. Thanks in advance. Enjoy the rest of your evening.
  2. Thank you. Wow, it's so much more simple to set up this time. The last time I played emulated fruit machines (over 25 years ago) it was a right pain. You needed to install different BIOSes for different ROMs. Now it's just a 1-click installation, and I have to say that I'm impressed. It's quite hard to make out the images and numbers on my laptop, but I have a 16" portable monitor which I might try in portrait mode to have the fruit machine fill the screen. Has anyone tried this? I've just put an imaginary £60 into Bank Raid in exchange for an imaginary £7 in winngs.
  3. Hi all. I hope you're all having a great morning. I signed up yesterday and I've just realised that I'm already over 4 rep. I haven't downloaded anything yet. I don't want to download the emulator and some ROMs, to then realise that I need another file (like a BIOS or drivers etc). Do I just need the MFME v20, or are there some other files that I need? I may need a little help. The last time I used fruit machine emulators was over 25 years ago. As you can imagine, it was very crude in those days. Any help would be massively appreciated. Thank you in advance.
