Seems a little harsh but hey whatever...lol Regarding the android box I mentioned above, its absolutely awesome for streaming IPTV and pretty much overkill for IPTV only. I'm gonna see what kind of emulation I can get out of this box, I got a feeling I will be able to squeeze a fair bit out of its chipset. The next thing is to get 'Batocera' booting off an external NVME SSD straight in to 'Batocera' and see how far I get, off topic I know so back to IPTV chat... Batocera link for those interested in emulation.

Just read that 'Real Debrid' have clamped down a lot on piracy, we can probably safely name them now they seem to have gone more legit. Other news, quite a large IPTV network recently taken down, thankfully my sub is still working...lol. Not a sale pitch at all, Ive got 0% interest in selling anything to anyone here or anywhere else, I pay for my own IPTV sub and love it, the point of this thread was to get other peoples thoughts/opinions as I thought it was quite an interesting topic to chat about. Kodi is not IPTV, it can be used as an IPTV player but even that i wouldnt recommend, Kodi uses repositories that are coded to access streams from websites that may be hosting sports/tv/movies etc etc and they really are somewhat overloaded as they are freely available to the masses, Kodi addons like to buffer and are unwatchable most of the time. IPTV can do all of the above, theres typically a Live tv section, VOD (VOD - Video On Demand) and tv catch-up, you can also record via software such as Tivimate. I agree firesticks aint the best way to go, you get get some pretty cheap android boxes these days though that pack more than enough power for streaming. Im not a huge fan of Kodi but each to there own i guess, I suspect the premium service you talking about may have the initials RD but I could be wrong on that one. An android box would of been a better way to go, it also depends on what your using, if your using free streams such as Kodi addons then buffering is to be expected regardless of your internet speed as those streams are saturated by people, there are also many paid IPTV subs that can suffer server overloading, it took me a long time to settle on one that im happy with. Some interesting responses so far I will say.

A decent IPTV app and you filter out all the crap so you basically end up with your languages of choice. Mines setup to English/USA/Canada plus Netflix, Disney, Amazon Prime and all that extra paid for stuff, its rather nice at a fraction of the price.

IPTV isnt so bad, get yourself a cheap android box or firestick, load it up with 'Tivimate' and your totally sorted. IPT (Invite only torrent site ??). Not a bad tracker and quite easy to maintain a decent ratio.

Well this could become just a huge massive thread all of its own... We could rock back to the early days of P2P Kazza, Limewire, WinMX and eventually the start of Bit-torrent (remember 'SuperNova' ??) or even those privi to scene ax (if you know then you know). Piracy has and always will be a thing. Yours thoughts ??

May get hit by a bus too....lol

This subject may be a tad controversial but it seems we all love tech and emulation and getting a 1UP over the powers that be wherever possible. Do you, are you using or plan to ever try/use IPTV ?? I'm happily using a very reliable IPTV sub, pretty much anything you can think of, live TV, PPV events, Live Sports and all that XXX stuff from pretty much any country you can think of. What's your thoughts peep's ??

@dad Thats very impressive, it may even of got a release way back then if you had sent it to some budget software houses... @MortI agree, he should defo release it... @johnparker007That looks neat too, amazing what can be squeezed out of those old computers by smart coders, again I'm impressed...

I remember the mini game in 'Superfrog', what a great game that was... 'Cash n Grab' is a game that totally escaped me at the time, it looks fairly decent though from the screenshot, I may have to load up a ROM to give it a few spins... This is the first computer fruit machine I ever played on my first ever computer which was a Commodore 16, it looks pretty terrible now but back then it didn't look quite as bad... I also played 'Fruit Machine' on the Amstrad CPC464, this was one of the many crap games that came bundled with the computer, it was good for wasting an hour or so when there was nothing better to do...

I never did own a Spectrum but after googling the multiface it looks similar to an action replay cartridge which was released by Datel Electronics, it was used for entering pokes, snooping around and editing code and backing up games direct from the computers memory, I bought one for both the C64 and Amiga.

Looks like I missed a trick there, I remember my mum used to play this a lot, she was much better at it than me if I'm honest...lol

If only I could of hit the jackpot irl as much as I could playing on my computer at home, i would be typing on a keyboard made of gold now... Nothing beats the sound of a old skool fruit machine pumping out coins, that feeling you get on a good day in the pub/arcade can never be simulated imo...
