Love this build!! Very jealous right now. This is the reason I joined - try and get some motivation and drive to get my own built.
You just got to bite the built and do it pal that what I did, I just spontaneously went out and collected the parts needed and just built it. Well worth it, I have another casino slot so will be selling that now as now need for it now I have built this.

I did reply to your previous post about this here:
In short it will need some programming knowledge. I unfortunately really can't spare the time to work on this at present, but for someone will some coding knowledge, you should have all you need to get started in my previous reply.
Would recommend trying to get an initial LED blinking... then branch out from there into how you might try control other things. Thanks mate, still stuck with it

I want to link PAC drive with unity, I have been looking at this for awhile now and still can't get my head around pairing the both, IAM pretty sure it can be done just unaware how, is there anyone who knows how to do this ?

In simple terms,
The Pacdrive spins up the hopper motor, and the Ipac tells the hopper to stop spinning after a coin passes the optical sensor.
Here is 1 example.
When you get a 1 coin hopper payout, the Pacdrive sends out 5v to a pin out IE: 16. (Or up to 48v with external power.)
This 5v output is what you connect to a relay that completes the circuit to power the hopper motor. (I use 220v hoppers).
The hopper spins round until a coin passes through the optical sensor. This is where the Ipac comes in.
The Ipac is waiting for a connection to be made between ground and a pin on the board you set for the "[" or "]" input. This is done with another relay. I use a 12v one as it is the same voltage as my opto board. When the opto board senses the coin pass, it sends a signal to my relay and that makes the right connection on the Ipac telling the hopper motor to stop spinning.
Hey mate thanks for the reply, do you know how MFME communicates with the PAC boards ? , I want Unity to connect with it also

Hey, does anyone know how the PAC boards communicate with the hoppers to get them to run ?
Thank you

Don't fink the wife will let me though
Haha build it in a shed or garage, you will need to have 2 x screens both with touch screen or infrared surround wo you can access the buttons on the top board

I want a scrap bell fruit cabinet so I can make another but this time, duel screen, a reel screen where the reels are supposed to be and a screen where the board is supposed to be. Doable in MFME apparently.
Yh pretty sure that is possible as there is a split screen setting

That's where I am at atm still got some more tidying up To do and go through all the games but coming along well

Hey pal yes I can send some pics, not the clenist build inside but it works well

How is the build coming along.
Any chance you could share more photos of your build, and inside? This is pretty much similar to my own vision for a cabinet I plan top build and very interested how yours is put together
Thanks
Hey pal yes I can send some pics over one sec

Yes mate I brought a sheet of ply wood and then draw on the shape you like and cut then copy that onto the next board

Thanks for your help and wisdom much appreciated - yeah thats exactly what I meant but if I drove the motor direct (from the relay) the opto should still output, shouldn't it? or on a CCTalk model is that counting just not happening the same as a parallel and it sends the data back as its serial protocol messaging I wonder - I suppose I could wind it round and see I will have a little look when time next allows might save me a few quid. There are definitely opto outputs labelled on the hopper identical to the post from Dave I linked above.
It cant be as bad to strip down as a smart hopper, what fun I had changing a belt on one of those recently
You can use any hopper if you use infrared sensors to register the coin output

Hey mate I can try help you along the way I have recently built my own cab fully working, it's not easy but with some help and guiding you will be good, build wise you can download a full build that's what I did but the games don't come ready with the coins and hoppers set up so you will need to go into each game 1 by 1 to change that ( that's the step IAM on now) its easier if you just have your machine take £1 and 10p coins but I wanted all amd I wanted 3 hoppers so I can have a 2p hopper also, there are plenty of guides on here but if you do get stuck just drop me a message, i have done the 2 screens but i think it is possible as there is a split screen option in the settings but i have never tried that, i just wemt for 1 full screen, regarding the buttons you can have as many as you like

Hey mate, I don't I just made it up as I went along, but I could get you some measurements if you like ?
Also if you need help with anything else I can try point you in the right direction

4 would probably cover most if not all games 2p/10p/£1/token that would be an ideal set up.
Let me know the results if you do end up trying 3 on one machine please
Yh mate I think so also, Yh when I get some spare time I will try it mate and let you know

Ok thanks for the offer it’s much appreciated.
That’s good to know. I was under the impression that mfme only supported 2 hoppers. I was thinking of having a £1,10p and 20p token set up for my build. As most of the games I used to play were cash/token games. Have you tried all 3 running on one machine successfully?Yh I wish I put 4 hoppers in my build now as some of the token games I would like to have on my build, I haven’t tried 3 on one game at a time but I sure there would be a way to get them to work would need time to look at that

Looks great that
I’m planning something similar myself if it looks half as good as yours I will be happy. I’m interested in how you have the 3 hopper system running did you use the Arduino method that’s posted?
Hey mate iam sure it will, just let me know if you need any advice along the way, I pretty sure I can have as many hoppers as I want, I just use 2p, 10p, £1, when I play a game that is normally a 20p hopper I just put in the settings multiplier x2 on the 10p hopper to pay out 20p, I use a pac drive for mine mate

F1 is actually an MFME shortcut for "Borderless", so it may be Better to use a number like 5 or 6.
Ahh yh it is mate but i changed it as all my machines boot in full screen stretch in my cab so no longer needed it, I use F1 - F6 for coin input and then just standard 0 for £1 coins

Not really sure what your asking? But....Is this happening on a specific layout or every layout? What coin mech are you using?
Hey mate managed to solve it, it was happening on every layout, when i put 5p in i have it key binded to F1 on the keyboard it was double pressing F1 adding 10p to every game, the coin mech i am using is a CF126 Cash Flow
-
My coin mech is not taking 10p for each 5 p put in its sending 2 pulses is there away to fix this i have tried changing the mech that does not work

Looks great mate

MFME Payouts
in Cabinet Building

I think some machine have it so when you press the £10 note in button it does pay coins out, you might be able to put a new screen over lay on as In change machine then do it that way
