Only got Dad left since Mum passed away in November. His shed is like an Alladins cave and he has lots of old stuff upstairs.

I remember in the New Year's thread you said that you hoped 2019 would be a better year for you... I understand why now x

Not only as a kid I had one but as an adult as well because when I worked in security for the NHS, the blue snorkel parka was part of the uniform. I was bloody grateful for having one in the winter when doing outside patrols on foot!

As a kid I once zipped the hood right up but wasn't able to unzip it as the fur was stuck in the zip and then having some sort of  panic attack thinking I was going be stuck like it forever.

Most action men I've pulled have moaned rather than talked.

I bet the action men you've pulled didn't have any uniforms on! :D

I actually had the same one, but he stopped talking after he'd been in the bath with me :(

I'm not surprised he was probably in shock!! O.o

    Caps for guns

It was always cowboys and indians when growing up but as a cowboy you had to have caps in your gun.  Also rubbing a stone on them so they would make them go bang.

Plus always remember going Rhyl in north wales as this was the place for us stoke lot back in the 70s - early 80's and the seaside shops used to sell keyring cap guns.

You post some good stuff! I had those guns and that little rocket thingy.

Action Man. The first one I ever got was called 'Talking Commander'. Give him a pull, and then he'd talk.

there where a few computer/video game pages i used to read everyday but i cant remember the page numbers now...

I had forgotten about the computer/video game section, would often read those pages. Did they do game reviews on there? I'm struggling to remember now but do remember it had the game charts for all computers and consoles of the day.

Yes board games where the family all get together and have fun??  I can remember the dragster one such a simple yet great game as a kid.

Board games were a great way to get the family together, not like nowadays where everyone's stuck to their bloody phones.

    Driving Test (Merit)

The idea is to steer different vehicles around the board via the control lever which operates a magnet beneath the platform.

I remember getting this from the jumble sale and most of the pieces were missing but luckily it still had one of the cars you needed to steer.
