    This bit is probably 100 % correct but you would only have to read a version that doesn't match the second string in the software version like i was talking about at the beginning of the thread. I mean you have learned lots more since then, so maybe that doesn't make a difference but i would say it does.

    As far as I know ifnits not in the diag box or the debugger then no. Sure there will be a way around that though.

    You can see this for yourself. Load a game up via mfme open the s door so you can see what revision it runs then try an opposite revision number so if it is 0.3 software change for anything beginning with 1.

    Hi Andrew on your original Q about the lamps having a differnt line of code I would say yes to a certain extent. Different revision numbers only follow the same character with revision numbers following in suit. So 0.1 0.2 etc. Once it changes to 1.0 the lamps which work with v 0. Will.now be jumbled up and completely wrong in that game.

    Here's my finished layout of this great jpm machine from the early 90's. Always enjoyed this game as a youngster and it's given me a kick up the backside to get some fme stuff done again, thanks to richie100 who uploaded the flyer to the mecca and @alex74 for the original classic this is based on. Had to do some redrawing in places as some lamps were just not good enough quality on the original flyer, There is two layouts in the file a large layout and another which is about 400 pixels smaller, had to do it this way as the blended lamps were giving slow down during the jackpot animation, as ever massive thanks to wizard for the new mfme. MFME V 20+ ONLY.

    Think that's cash attack mk 2 , another of the super charged clones, some early chips could be done on these if I remember right.

    Device changed is normally on later mpu 5 games. Normally happens when you change the software/jackpot or stake on a game

    Hi jp are you sure this is a bug on your part? I ask because if an mfme layout doesn't have coin lock out checked and you hold the 0 key for a few secs that give lockout/ strim alarm. Try playing a game that you know has the coin mechs lock outs ticked and see if you get the same error.

    Of course with software that is an whole different scenario, there is a risk of loss or damage. Taking high res picks of machines isnt gonna break em. Maybe it's the whole ignorance bit about it that is bothering me. It isnt hard to say no or make some waffle up. Ignoring messages is a pig awful way of doing things.

    Did the scene ask for cash when they got a software copy for their machine? No. we go out our way to help them get the best result for their games. Really do find it strange that people can be so selfish about these things.

    Ok sorry if I should post this here, but I feel like a shit posting at the mecca as not all members are in the same catergory. On numerous occasions I've sent PMS to members on there requesting pics of their games if the have time. PMS have either been ignored, or read with no reply. Now this is fare enough some cant be arsed with the myther. Thing is a great bunch of these ignorant members have recieved help and software from the fme scene, yet when we ask for a little.help back we get the middle finger. I'm posting this to burn off some frustration over this matter for some months now, getting to the point I think bollocks to it.

    Our local club had it on 10p 100 quid, they then altered the dip for the cash pots and made the static. Machine was boycotted once I told the regulars what they'd done. It was very well played so those pots were always getting built quick. It was altered back once the steward had taken a shit load of grief off all te members haha, funny at the time.

    They did on the later gold version. Once cashpot was wont it just reset to 250.
