gambling is gambling in any shape or form, emulated or not youtube will still see it as the same. in their eyes it encourages gambling which i think they're trying to stop. BIG shame about Banditslots as his videos were great and very entertaining, maybe it was his cash giveaways which tempted people on that road to gambling that was the final nail. these video's in my eyes are harmless compared to some of the vile shite still freely available within youtubes vaults maybe they should spend some time deleting these too.

Reel bands look similar to the British jpms of this era so may not be impossible to duplicate or use the symbols from Here's a few examples

Looks ok to me, although the base section needs a bit more straightening up on the left to match the right, then if you wanted to you could add some perspective and angle the bottom of it outwards.

Here's an image I blagged of the Alice's diamond deal jackpot symbol, I have uploaded other various reflex symbols on here too from Alice's wonderland and jackpot jewels I also have a hi res flyer of dracs delight and other from riches new flyers on the mecca if it helps

Sideart can be cut off from the right hand side, you could do this with the old mfme but this time you can save it. Have you (retro fruits) had a dabble with the new mfme 5_6.1 if not I highly recommend you do as even 1280's are small now, I mean I used to be only able to do 1024's but now the emulator as a scaling feature it means I can make em as big as I like, I think the biggest I've made on my 17" laptop is around 2000 X 2000 pixels in size. I hope you come back to layout creating as we could do with a nice Big pink panther and it was a shame you never finished Manhatten skylines, of which I made one, or do you??

Great advice from the retro master of layouts, nice to see you're still about.

Are we saying retro fruit is back in making layouts that'll be good

Typical government, squeeze a few more quid out of us, then in two yes it'll change again. Another con and false promises made by our lovely government elite. Why we vote makes me wonder sometimes??

as said via pm here's what i've done with the above image

Re-added this post from chops video topic as it relates more to this topic!! As it appears most of us gamblers from the early 90s have the same problems I can certainly relate to most of what you’ve said. My gambling started back in 1990 unfortunately the machines had entertainment value back then so you got easily hooked, I spent long hours working in chip shop staring at the machine there then playing it after work. I used to go to pubs with what few friends I had but played machines more than socialising. i bought a machine key so I then “helped” myself with more cash to play up chippy. Then a bad job decision came in my predicament. i went to work in a holiday park, working 60hrs a week for as little as £3 per hour the little time I had off was spent in the park arcade or a short bike ride to burham on sea. playing £4 slots and 2p machines i used to rob and steal from the shop I worked in or fiddle the till for extra cash something no one should be proud of!! then I got fired as got caught so back home I went living at home got another job but the arcades still a major Bain on my life. now the present I still think sleep and eat gambling, who doesn’t on here?? I now have kids so gambling now restricted mainly online but still use any spare cash I have which isn’t a lot with kids lol. So I supposed they’ve saved me from a certain fate. if I count every penny spent through gambling it must be around the £200,000 mark just think that’s a house paid for. but all through my gambling years I’ve always paid the bills on time and have never been in debt through this evil hobby Well done char042102 The first step is admitting you've a problem, which most of us on here admit we have! The next step which you're taking is the hardest. Take each day one at a time, Maybe save what you would've spend in a jar or bank, aim for a goal say £500/1000 when you've reached that goal, buy something or take a holiday ( not a seaside resort lol) Again most of us have tried to give the demon machines up, many have fallen at the first hurdle, me included and you'll be no different don't be ashamed to admit defeat, just get back up and try again. It takes mind power and will power to want to stop. The road to success will be bendy and full of pot holes, avoid em if you can and good luck.

Any news on this as I've artwork prepped for this, well the "off" stage but the centre feature board is a bit hard to read in places and I had to borrow the £70 decals from a flyer image I had as the image I'm using is from the £100 version I've removed the top left reflections

Upload away I'm sure someone will do this proud, I'd love to see a reg dx as said before not seen one for a while, there's others who haven't released dx's for a while to. As for myself I've enough to keep me occupied for a month or so, but if no one's taken it on by say July / August then I'll see what I can do.

Be out of the scene for a while..need quick update
vectra666 replied to Pootis Spencer's topic in Emulator Chat
Hi and welcome, you'll need to download mfme5.1 which when you open the layout through it then close it it asks you to save to the newer FML file of which you'll then be able to use through mfme6.1. All or most layouts post Oct 2016 should be FML already- 1 reply

Cheers good idea you have putting the ROMs with the image, something I may do if I find any unemulated machines
-
As you can see i found a image on ebay for this machine, i know we have the £70 roms running in a layout. i was just wondering do we have the complete set of the lower original roms knocking about as in £5-£25. over at emuparidise there's dozens of sets but at 40kb's are they big enough. Finally do these early ones run in mfme6.1

doesn't count the lo-tech's spot light/ search light / sudden impact all clones of each other some were originally on £4.80 though
