[Fruit machines - voice samples that just made you crack up laughing]

The Eastenders machine.  I think the only original voice was Mike Reid's. "come an ave a butcher's raand the square..."   

If you ever landed on the Sharon Mitchell square they cheaped out on doing her voice and it was always Grant piping up instead of her with a "I'll chuck him out darlin" or "she's gone up west"

Finally the Arthur Fowler square - first land on it "I've got a job"... if the machine was in a bad mood you could re-land on it less than 10 seconds later - "I've lost my job"

Not voice sample related but cleverest/funniest thing I'd ever seen/heard at the time too - when you got a hold and you pushed the 3 hold buttons in any order it played the notes for  "west" "end" "girls" then press cancel and it finished the musical sting...  Actually took some time to notice that in a quiet time in the pub but nearly wet myself when I realised. (Honestly I'd had a few pints... )

[The Saddest Day]

Wow.  I've been away for a while with the pandemic, lockdown, shielding, turning 50, new PC (so still reinstalling stuff 5 months later)  another lockdown so shielding again etc and have only just come back on to see what's going on in the world of fruit machine emulation and I saw this news.  RIP Wizard.  Your gift to the world does not go unappreciated.  You allowed me to revisit part of my youth and this doesn't happen very often in this world...

Just donated.  It's been 13 years or so since I first discovered fruit machine emulation.  This alongside mame has given me the chance to relive my youth from childhood to early 20's without being totally skint in the process...   Cheers to all for years of fun and of course to Wizard for kicking off the fruity side of emulation...  (oo-er )
