Thanks for this Woodsy, it plays quite tight wish is good to see on a layout. When I first saw it, I thought it was one I used to play in the past, cant remember the name of it but think it was similar with pints and champagne bottles. Probably a coronation street, as thats all I can remember with pints. Ive not had the same error as others, playing the £25 version and collected £50 out no problem. I noticed though the take cash flashes when you land on a ? but it doesnt allow you to collect. I then noticed even not landing on ? it wouldnt let me collect anything, need to play to jackpot. Good layout though, dont think ive played this in the wild.

Would be good to see Money Laundry, I know I’ve mentioned this a few times and uploaded images but don’t think there’s roms. Another one I’d like to see a DX for is bottle bank but don’t think there’s any images around. A couple of remakes I’d like to see a DX of are Atlantic and Jumpin Jokers but again think this could be down to no higher quality images.

hahaha it does sound very similar to the wef Like the meme, wish he would have warned me years ago

Don’t really play in the wild anymore, maybe the odd tenner in Wetherspoons if out for a meal. Just can’t get to grips with the new types of games as the boards look quite busy and it appears more cash is needed to get on the board. I stick to betting horses on a Saturday, £2.50 place-only singles. Can be a nice earner for small stakes if I manage to get two or three placed.

I know what you mean as there would be occasions where it would be well out. How many times have you went higher or lower, lost then only to think to yourself if only you had chosen the other or collected what it was offering. Running two emulations has shown it wouldn’t have mattered and it would’ve been a loss whatever the decision.

My dad always used to tell me this was the case and to put the money on a horse instead, right or wrong or just as bad? His words were you get a better run for your money
-
Yeah exactly that. You always had that gut feeling sometimes that they were rigged and it took for running two emulations simultaneously to prove it lol A good game always passed the time, even if you lost and still walked away happy enough

Has there been a machine that you have played in the past which may also be emulated that always left you skint back in the day but you didn’t mind losing to it because you enjoyed playing the game? Mines was Crazy Cobra, not always bad but mostly had losses. Playing this just now and have only realised running two games side by side that if you go higher on one and lower on the other, that if it wants you to lose then that be your fate. Enjoyed playing this in the wild, even if it was on the machines terms!

For me I’d say it would need to be AWPs in the £15-£25 range as that’s where the majority of my playing days were. Also liked the same machines on £5 jackpots and other £5s in arcades. Played £35s as well, preferred them to £70s. Think my playing days stopped around the £35 era. Also played some clubbers in my time too but never had much luck on them as I always had that dejavu feeling after playing that someone’s emptied it before me. One question I’ve always wondered from my playing days is, why were the majority of reds always quite evil?

Il post a photo of my setup when I get the new pc

Thats alright for under £100. My mrs got me a new 55" telly for my birthday there so i think il get a cheap enough desktop as i dont do any other gaming. Just something for running mfme and the usual software like excel etc...

Thanks. Still undecided as another pc would set me back about 300 and a monitor is 100 so if I go with the monitor option then il give it a go

Hi Guys, Sorry if posted before or if to the wrong place but thought about getting another pc monitor specifically for running MFME on. Was going to turn this monitor on its side to get the full advantage of layouts. I'm sure I've read this before that tvs and monitors can be turned to portrait mode. Is it only MFME v20+ that this can be done with? Also apart from setting the monitor up for portrait mode is there anything else I need to do? Would there be any issues having my all-in-one in landscape and a separate monitor in portrait mode? Just got my all-in-one back from currys repair centre, was hoping for no fix as I'd have got a voucher towards the cost of a pc that I could've plugged into my TV. Could probably do that with this as well, then I thought about the additional monitor idea Thanks in advance folks, Chris
