  1. They are there somewhere. Look under Impact and Scorpion 4 layouts.
  2. HitTheSix did a classic version of that a while ago. It maybe in the legacy section?
  3. I have never used the "Hopper Opto" settings in MFME, so I can not comment. Personally I always use output 15 for "Hopper 2, and output 16 for "Hopper 1", and fill in the [Multiplier] box. - MFME does the rest. When you collect a win, the hopper will spin until the correct number of brackets are generated via your opto>relay>joykey. Hopper 1 opto has to generate a "[" bracket and hopper 2 opto has to generate a "]" bracket to count the coins out. For older machines that used tube payouts. I use output 15 for "Triac -> Hopper 2, and output 16 for "Triac -> Hopper 1" and fill in the [Triac] and [Multiplier] box accordingly.
  4. Yes, you need a 5v relay to convert the 5v Pacdrive output, in to physical connection. In other words you break the circuit in your 12V hopper and use the relay output to reconnect it. You need to use an Ipac for the hopper opto and button inputs. This is what generates MFME keyboard presses.
  5. MFME uses a square left bracket input on the iPac to signal a coin out on hopper 1, and a right bracket for an opto output on hopper 2.
  6. Is there a "Run in Compatibility Mode" option?
  7. That's definitely a Barcrest Stop the Clock:) I have not seen a Pook DX of it though. I can only find a classic version in the legacy section, so it would be nice to see if there is a WDX of this around somewhere.
  8. The Pacdrive and Ipac send out a 5V signal. I use 5V relays to run my 220v and 110v hoppers and 12v opto sensors. I posted a diagram somewhere recently. Found the post
  9. Do you mean Top The Lot by Pook? Stop the Clock was a 5p BAS machine.
  10. Blimey! That brings back some memories. I used to have one of them, with a red top. Whittikers were not far from where I lived either.
  11. Just tried to download the installer, and win 10 tried to block it. Then Avast kicked in a few times, and after scanning and saying it looked safe, then said it had generic IDP, which I gave an exception too, then it installed, and errored as it tried to rename a file, then after ignoring that, it gave another error and closed. Looks like a fun time ahead:)
  12. Just a quick update on this project. My new hopper arrived broke (base smashed in), and my note acceptor was only working when it felt like it (6 dry solder joints on LED inputs). I ended up having to fix both of them myself. Fortunately my JY-142 board arrived OK. I am now holding off on setting everything up until I get my reset counter. (This goes in between the acceptor and the JY board for book keeping) Cost - about a fiver. @davep180 Now an update on the key press, so that I can insert notes for credits. I found a really useful solution for this, that will literally only cost 3USD. GitHub - Juul/ict-bill-acceptor-as-usb-keyboard: Converting ICT bill acceptor pulse output to USB keyboard keypresses I have just ordered a leonardo thingy for about 4.5 squid and will report back in a few weeks.
  13. This same question only came up the other day. Saving cropped region of a layout - Newbies Help Area - Desert Island Fruits
  14. Good luck with that! Keep us up to date with pics. It will be an evolving process! Speaking of which, my 2nd Pacdrive arrived today, so I can control the tower lights on top of my cab screen:)
  15. You can also use buttons more than once, so long as they don't affect gameplay. If your using a Pacdrive to light buttons up, you can have 2 different numbered bulb effects on the same button.
  16. F7 will save a layout in its current state.
  17. The Pacdrive sends a signal to drive the hopper motor, and the Ipac receives the coin out opto signal (5v). I did a diagram on how mine is set up a while ago, plus there was other info in that thread that may help?
  18. In a word yes. The only constant across FME layouts that I see, are the hold and start buttons. Feature buttons vary, machine to machine. Games with hopper payouts primarily require Hopper #1 for payouts, but then there are a small handful that are the opposite. Older games use Triacs, which you can freely dictate, depending on your own preference, and so on. The quickest way to assign bulbs, is to make a template.pac (A copy of all your button/hopper layout settings in PAC Drive config). <Save Template> When you load a layout and assign each of your buttons in edit mode, you go in to config/pacdrive > Load template, and simply hit [Config] which then fills in all the bulb settings. As for a stash of settings, that would only work if your buttons are the same layout as someone else's, and even then you would also have to copy all their layout folders, and you could be talking gigs of files. My working MFME cab folder is 21gig.
  19. That's the right Pacdrive, if you plug it in, it should show up in MFME config where it says PAC Drive Assignments
  20. Just bear in mind that the Pacdrive has to be set to ID# 1 "Special" when you order. Another thing to keep in mind is that if you are planning more than 14 LEDS + 2 hoppers, that you will need to order another Pacdrive and request that it is set to ID #2 before it is sent, as the ID can not be changed afterwards.
  21. If it can be set up on a layout as a key press, then yes. You only have to send the note pulse to a relay, and the relay makes the key press via the Ipac.
  22. Hi Guys. Here is an idea that may interest those of you with an MFME cabinet, or those of you are thinking of making one. For my 2nd MFME cabinet build I am adding a note accepter(pulse), which hopefully will give change via a JY-142 board, or credit using relays. Hopefully I will be able to use a 2 way key switch to choose credit or change. I have spent $82.94 on the note acceptor, and had it factory programmed for my notes, and $32.03 on the JY-142 board. Here is an example of this board working with a similar note acceptor and a hopper the same as mine.
  23. Good find:) That comes in at 99.38 USD excluding the New user Code (aliex344)
  24. So the challenge is, to beat 105USD with 50,000 games and wireless controllers. Just checked, and it's under 80 squid with free postage to the UK (takes weeks) just remember to add the coupons offered! Check out the link I posted earlier, and see if you can beat it with other sellers.
