  1. There are clubbers that didn’t have a gamble block but then received updated software to implement a gamble block.  I imagine to balance gameplay, pros targeted clubbers and on lots of Barcrest club machines I know of, you could just force out the gamble to the jackpot.  I wasn’t a big club player personally so I can’t really comment on other manufacturers.

  2. The first chip was emptiable by sacking everything and only taking the feature, it would keep coming back round after so long, making it possible to empty. We had one switched off for weeks in a local arcade after it had been hit.  Gutted I didn’t get to try it, all the ones I tried later didn’t bring the feature back for a reasonable cost.

  3. So boot machine, then click cash door, once it boots, press demo it will give credits.  Click refill then I think it cancel or first hold, it’s in short term stats, if you can’t sort it I will look later, not on pc at minute.  This should apply to most mpu5 machines, handy to know if you are looking for free wins :)

  4. Ok, so target % is 92%, which is a bit high I'd say :)   Actual % is 93.2, so not a lot in it, you are slightly ahead but still not over the money in.  Are you just taking the £6 wins on this or a mixture.  It would be great if you had the time to just take those £6 wins and nothing else to get a true reflection of what's going on :)

  5. Yeah, there were many issues with those lower stake Maygay conversions.  I remember similar things on Super Sleuth and Fight Night when sacking off the revolver feature it could go mental and give you big wins when stepping reels, it would clock up then clear the win completely.  Ha ha was pretty funny

This is different though as the machine is staying very happy, I’d be checking actual % and seeing what’s what :)

  6. It’s highly likely those £6 wins are not accounted for so the machine will just get happier.  Nice find, I love revisiting old machines and trying ways to defeat them :).

I think the emptier on this was never fixed, but never knew this £6 feature was a thing.

I guess you could investigate furth by just taking those £6 wins.  Check the actual percentage then hammer those features that pay £6 then go back and check actual percentage again, this will clearly give you a definitive answer on whether or not those wins are indeed free.  I think they will be, especially when the machine is staying so happy when it shouldn’t be :).  Again, great work.

Let us know the outcome if you decide to find it another go ;)

  7. Ha ha, tell me about.

We found a virgin and original programme Bullseye, 6 token in a small village pub.  We’d literally been on it 10 mins and it was paying the 20p.  The whole pub stopped and you could hear a pin drop, we didn’t even finish our drinks,  headed for the door the landlord followed, my mate was pretty handy and he squared up to the bloke and asked him if there was a problem.  He threatened to call the police and my mate gave him his name and reg plate.  Lol, I went back with my other mate a few weeks later and he came and turned it off.  We found another little country pub couple miles from here and lo and behold we found another Bullseye!!  Had that one for a good few months, we actually got chatting to the owner here and he’d actually been on the Bullseye show and even had the little Bullseye Bully mascot you got for being on the show, nice bloke, felt bad hammering his machine, he said he’d never get rid of it.

Some great little country pubs on that particular stretch :)

  8. I mean around 1994-1995 alone we had so many machines to travel to play.

It was an exciting time compared to now, so many decent playable machines, so many manual emptiers and whilst I wasn’t a prolific plugger I’ve certainly done my fair share back in those days.

Had the police called on us a couple of times, few close scrapes but it was such a buzz at the time.  Me and a mate was plugging a Monopoly60 in a service station and a police car pulled up and came in, they walked straight past us… phew!!!

  9. Obviously there were lots of low points but I just loved the danger and excitement. Back late 80’s early 90’s it wasn’t saturated with players so machines had a lot more casual play, you’d bump into clued up bods here and there while travelling to different areas and often swapped info, depending on what they had. This was just before mobile phones and the infonet so we weren’t all connected, as a result tricks lasted longer.

Biggest issue back then was getting barred from arcades!!

  10. It's not that straight forward, you need to use the switches to change it to the desired jackpot and stake.  It's best to download a Maygay layout that is already running the stake and jackpot you are looking for and copy the switch info from that layout and add the switches to the layout you are running.
