  1. So I decided to build an mfme keyboard. V1 i made out of wood and used a zero delay usb encoder and buttons i had left over from my virtual pinball build. V1 is the version with the blue buttons on. This worked great but i wanted a more authentic keyboard. So i made V2, massive thanks to @Regfor your guide. Without that i wouldn't have had a clue what to do. V2 has ipac2 and pacdrive, and uses proper fruit machine buttons i got from ebay. I swapped the lamps for 5v leds instaed of 12v normal lamps. I dont have the decals so i printer some crappy ones ie the collect and exchange buttons. Setting it all up didnt take long, but each machine will need to load a template and config it. i am super happy with the result. I Still have V1 the wooden box version but i think ill sell it or break it down as i dont need it anymore.

Next up and a favourite Mdm machine of mine is Colossus a similar machine if not a clone of Big Apple Thanks goto @£6intokens - The Smaller Dx used for lamping/reel refences @Liverpool2008 - Hi res images of this machine @infection - images of the £8token glass and reel deck for symbols to be remade @WonkySausage - Dip switch setting configuration help @serene02 - Massive thankyou to you for making the HI LO reel and symbol overlays, they now look spot on fantastic work as usual!!! Anon - for new Mpu4 coin out effects which are used for games in the same cab as andy capp and the like.. And of course @Wizard for Mfme's past and Present. Now the Machine decals. You'll notice when you collect winnings from the fruit cash ladder, they're wrong. this is because they're set for 5p play and was like this when @Liverpool2008 uploaded them it doesn't really matter as it states what you've won in the alpha display i.e 20p cherries = 40p and so on You can play these at a lower/ higher stake if needed (5p,decals correct/20p) bank2 dips 1,2,3 also you can change the percentage by changing the last four dips on bank two, the dips on bank2 are all labelled, just hover over the dip and it will show you what's what.. shortcuts are as standard £5-20p cash = 9, £8tokens 20p token = 9, £1 = 0 Enjoy and Happy Gaming!!!!!

  3. Looking good I suspect these aren't cheap, but one day I think these OLED push buttons would be great for a fruit machine cabinet if they are cheap enough in the future. So it would show the actual button decals for the machine currently being played (and black when not needed for current machine)... https://www.4most.co.uk/switches/lcd-oled-switches/oled-switches

  4. Free for another 6 days I'm yet to play it personally but massively enjoyed the previous entries, I seem to recall @Chopaholic uploading a video previously and saying what a steal it was at RRP so now is the perfect time to grab it! https://store.epicgames.com/en-US/p/borderlands-3

More bendy bulls n tankards and dart or BfH anyways here's the £25 variant on scorp5 tech the real machine should be blue with a blue cabinet but the flyers ropey so i decided to use the existing "classic" art (red background) and add the £25 decals to it thanks goto to @Liverpool2008 for original art the flyer uploader (£25) shortcuts are written within the notes and the notey works on this edition so put your feet up watch bullseye on challenge and challenge yourself to this like its 1980's all over again Enjoy and Happy Gaming!!!

thanks to wizard.. it's incredible the thought gone into the emulator and the fml side too! thanks to @dad whose dx i used to lamp and the reels which are included too.. thanks to @Liverpool2008 for the beautiful image which i decided against editing to the preferred £15/25 versions of mine as that would ruin the base image imo!! HOWEVER BY TICKING S DOOR, CONFIGURATION... YOU CAN CHANGE THE STAKE/PRIZE/PERCENTAGE YOURSELF TO THE WAY YOU WANT IT, THE BASE DECALS ARE OBVIOUSLY DIFFERENT BUT THE ALPHA TELLS ALL AND THE ONLY CHANGES ARE PURPLE & YELLOW BARS, BLUE & RED 7'S, AND THE JACKPOT OF COURSE. THE TOWER ONLY HAS THE TWO CHANGES, TOP BECOMING YOUR SELECTED JACKPOT, AND THE ONE BELOW IS £8. THE £15 IS MY PREFERENCE! There are multiple lamps i couldn't figure out, they are lamped and look good of course but the existing 3 versions have them off, and no matter how much i tried with the lamp boxes it just wasn't making sense!! @vectra666 if bothered may help and i'll update but for now it's in prefect working order with a little woodsy input on barcrest lamp maps! my fingers are suffering from all the blood checks and it's really painful for me to keep working on lamping etc, i'm too addicted to fml to stop but i'm going to be a bit slower for the time being until i get my new life as a diabetic under control etc.. today marks a year on dif.. it's a great site bringing memories back from extinction! i'm glad i've been a part of that too, i will do my best to continue doing so! as usual any complaints send them to po box 8008135. woodsy

Thanks for this layout, @woodsy The amount of hi res detail in layouts lately is amazing - especially this one and the latest @vectra666release too... so huge thanks to @Liverpool2008for the smashing pics! and my god, that nudge music "la la la laa la la laaaa " made me giggle - not just giggle - piss meself laughing!... - it's little things like this that are the reason i've always liked fruit machines (and especially FME). Most people i know only play for the money side of things, but i'm different - i've always played for the sheer fun of playing the features and listening to the many wacky, crazy arse sound fx & music that these boom out! F**king love it! Cheers... Gary.

  8. Thanks @GingeI've put a thread up on MpuMecca too. Made a donation in hope of a manual or something. I've been lurking and browsing that site for years, so it was about time I paid into it. Plus my Happy Campers machine isn't getting any younger and there are some seriously knowledgeable people over there!

  9. I never fitted hopper’s or coinmeck to my cabinet so not sure what will work with mfme. pretty sure someone on Mecca will be able to help,I will have a look on Monday if I’ve got a manual somewhere in work.can’t remember what the azkoyen one was called ,think it was e type or something like that some have opto and some have a small microswitch I have fee machines with them in work crazy fruits/line dancer/fruits n suits/golden game etc so sure one of them manuals will have the info you need.

  13. Managed to work it out and get it going. Thanks for doing this video until this morning i wasn't even aware that hbmame even existed. There are dozens and dozens of pacman hacks. Was there any particular reason you chose that one to play.

  14. MFME does this occasionally as internally it's mainly written in the old school C way (unmanaged aka unsafe code). Unless you are super careful when programming in this way, it's really easy to do stuff like 'trash memory' or 'corrupt pointers' etc, which results in these types of errors. There's nothing that can be done to fix this I'm afraid. In normal use, ie. when simply playing layouts, it happens very rarely (less allocs, more battle-tested code) - compared to editing layouts (which involves more allocating/deallocating memory/pointers etc), so it's not much of an issue for end users playing layouts

  15. No rush for me! I just wanted to make sure you'd seen the post One thing I noticed was it seems to play out the credits automatically, on the youtube video of the real machine I watched, there was pressing a large central button to do this - hopefully this behaviour can be changed from a DIP switch or a button that needs to have its input inverted. If a playable DX does get done, as we have the JPM Vogue cabinet 3d model, I can make a one off that is like the Jabro one using that model with a couple of tweaks, so it's Arcade Sim fodder for a quirky one
