Another release from me this time a Scorpion 4 machine called Toploader. I did plan to release the £8 version with this however the decals I have used from the images @Player provided are incorrect. I must be missing something here even though the stake was set for £8...maybe a dip switch? If anyone can help I will update the file. Thanks goes to :- @Johnnyafc for the original classic @Clo06 and @vectra666 for beta testing @Player for the original artwork upload

  2. I don't use Norton, its unusual because I never had the issue before the latest update, at least I can enjoy the arcade again, thanks

  3. Wow that is interesting - good call @cja272! I have made a note, as if I could figure out how to reproduce this, maybe I can come up with a proper fix at some point... glad you're up and running anyway

In memory of Chris J. Wren Thanks go to.. Wizard for MFME Geddy & Bugs for their classic (used as a base for this) Shortcuts included in the text file This was redrawn from the flyer by me in 2008 and has sat on an old hard drive since, a case of me being disillusioned by the fact that the more elements i had to redraw i felt no closer to where it should be. So i have decided to release it the way it was finished back then, probably a purists nightmare.. Take it for what it is.. Nick. **Update** Should be fixed now, knew i would cock it up.

First of two Re-releases from me tonight which were made prior to mfme v5's release Easy Streak this has been redone from scratch again Thanks goto @Tommy c for the base reel symbols used and help getting rid of the "stuck button alarm" needed to remove the button numbers to clear and to whoever i gained the flyer from the layout is still ropey in places due to the flyer especially the bonus text, but it says what they are on the alpha display Plays in Mfme v20.1 Enjoy and Happy Gaming (again)!!!

Here is another favourite machine of mine called Bank Raid by PCP 5p play £2 jackpot. I used to play this machine with my pocket money or my wages from working on the donkeys for 50p an Hr and free cups of tea . The Arcade was called the Oasis a small arcade in comparison to some of them in the town of Rhyl but it did have some of the best machines hope you all enjoy. Thanks go to the following @serene02 for the cabinet, @alex74 for the use of his Classic, @infection for some images and a massive thank you to the great man who created MFME @Wizard .

  9. I'd hesitate to recommend it woodsy, that GPU should have enough grunt for AS but it won't be capable of much else in terms of modern games or anything, it's got an old mechanical hard drive which is painful on Windows 10, and that's an old laptop, hailing back to 2014/2015, so no guarantees on how much life it'll have left in it. -------------------- The problem with that is the integrated graphics don't actually have as much horsepower as the 860M in the one woodsy linked above (although there isn't much in it), it's hard to stress how weak integrated laptop graphics actually are, they really aren't designed for any sort of proper 3D acceleration tasks at all. Also I'm thinking maybe we should have another thread for stuff like this 'Arcade Simulator Requirements and Tech Specs' in the main Arcade Simulator sub-forum, something like that rather than cluttering up the main Development Updates thread? NOTE - There are actually two replies there, the quote went wonky, the first is to woodsy and the second is to shaun.

  10. Nope, for starters that's describing a range of specs and even if it comes in at the top end you're still on old integrated Intel graphics and a low resolution screen. It also doesn't even seem to say it's got Windows 10 on it.

  11. I believe the mirror over the DOND reel, is considered a reel lamp, so hopefully they will simply work, once reel lamps are implemented.

  13. Ooo, one thing I've not figured out, the COB, or DOB button, what key does it tend to be? Talking of DOND, or varients, the DOND reel should be covered up. I mean, I like that it isn't, just saying Thanks!!!!!

  14. A couple for the layout bug sheet. Same issue appears to affect two machines. Wild Jackpots and Rise To the Top, the hi-lo reel is unreadable due to corruption.

  15. Glad its worked for you!!! When you described the problem it just sounded like the problem i have been having and i came across this fix , have you got Norton as i think its something to do with that?

  16. Just wanted to say I just got Arcade Sim running and it's awesome! I'm sure there's lots to do but it put a big enough grin on my face to send over some money! Great frontend and I guess thanks to everyone over the years who have done the artwork / got the ROMs etc. (I don't really understand it all but great job team!) Cheers

  17. Hmm well if they sometimes do work, then I guess that it isn't anti-virus software causing an issue - as if it were deleting the dll stuff, then the machines would never work (and you'd have the green message up in the top-right). Do you still have the HUD enabled? So that you can see the names of the machines up in the top-left? I think the green warning message is part of the HUD (so it would be hidden if the machine names are also not up in the top-left due to the HUD being hidden). It may be worth trying @cja272's suggestion above also: "...right click on the arcade simulator desktop icon then click run as administrator and then the machines work" One day I'd like to diagnose and fix all these issues, but it's tricky (as I can't reproduce them here). If you are still having issues, please do post back as there's quite a few more diagnostic steps we could try, and it might lead to me being able to get a fix made (that will also help others in future) - cheers

  19. This laptop should run AS perfectly. Possibly out of your budget, if you are getting credit though it might be doable for you? https://www.cclonline.com/product/msi-gf63-thin-10sc-gaming-laptop-15-6-inch-1920-x-1080-intel-core-i5-10300h-8gb-256gb-ssd-geforce-gtx-1650-bluetooth-microsoft-windows-10-home-9s7-16r512-059-353405/?gclid=CjwKCAjwyvaJBhBpEiwA8d38vG2V-8r3TzT7F6tgtsfCDb21hE8cyBjNoQTsFdmPO2Rffs2itB8FahoCprgQAvD_BwE J
