Hey everyone. Here is Xs & Os 2 Player by Barcrest. Set on £25/30p/90% With thanks again to @infection's Google Drive from where I sourced the photo images from. This is a great little game from Barcrest. Seems very fair and playable with regular boards and wins. Took a while to clean up thew photos and get the game running correctly, but if you notice anything wrong, then please let me know. Think its the only 2 player I know of. Depending on your screen resolution, you may find the game windows open up completely jumbled or in the wrong place. It may take a little time to 'stitch' them together, but once you've aligned them up once, when you close the topbox, they should load correctly the next time you load them up! Enjoy playing. Thanks

Here we have Gold Rush Stampede - Stand up 3 Player. Set on £25 / 30p / 90% by Barcrest Many thanks to @infection who again provided imaged for this release. This has taken a LOT of time to get right. It's still not 100% perfect due to the quality of the images, and the strange thing where some of the lamps on the top board are lit using the slave units (this is the reason why the bottom 5 or so lamps on the left and right hand side of the top board are not lit - This is a limitation I cannot think of a way around). Also I've had to 'guess' a few of the lamp numbers so they may not act 100% to the real thing. These things do not have a lamp test mode to help! Also I have been scratching my head for a long time trying to figure out how to get the Barcrest multiplayers to work and link-up in the emulator. Finally figured it out With that being said, I hope you enjoy this release as much as I enjoyed the challenge of creating it.

  5. I know this is not a good strategy of winning the jackpot on a fruit machine, but because I'm bored, I decided to see how many losing spins the machine can handle on max bet before it forces itself to pay the money. What I did here is basically the opposite of the common method of playing: not holding or nudging a winning combination or a feature combination, trying to not win anything from the feature (even when its on GATW), and doing the gamble until I get nothing or the jackpot. If the feature is GATW, I find a way to get out of it without winning anything (like losing the repeat space gamble or taking the feature that has a chance of not paying anything). These machines are played at the max stake. Notable results DOND The Crazy Chair/The Big Deal/CYBTB etc. (BFM) - After playing as much as 800 times in each machine and not winning anything (even on Go All The Ways), my next feature entries will always be GATW. On some machines like DOND Mega, it will respin to 3 bells (which pays the jackpot). It's Amazing (Barcrest) - After over 150 spins, the machine resets and gives a critical error message. Showtime (Reflex) - About 300 spins. When I tried escaping the GATW by losing on the repeat space gamble after getting the next number hint, it displayed that I won the gamble, even though the number landed would result in a game over. Pie Factory (Vivid) - About 40 pounds in the 15/0.30 version for it to start the "always GATW" mode. However, I can easily exit the feature by landing on Lose during the skill stop. It's uncommon for the machine to not give this opportunity. The Simpsons (Maygay) - About 20 pounds in the 15/0.30 version. I had to be lucky to land on the skill stop space where I can stop on the losing space when the feature round has invincibility. Reno Reels (BWB) - About 30 pounds in before the machines gives out nudges for every spin. That streak ended when I landed on 3 blue 7s for 4 quid. Getting a Bust in the feature spins takes forever too. Monopoly Road to Riches (Mazooma) - About 300 spins before it spun the jackpot and puts the jackpot amount in the Safe so that I am guaranteed to win that amount. Invincible (Red) - Literally takes forever.

Here we have another re-decalled Dond this time Make Or Break A BIG thankyou to @No1Stoney for allowing me to redo this version and upload it, but i think its only right his name should be the Author instead of mine as it's his work, so if @Reg is reading can you possible change the name from myself to No1 stoney's please Anyways onto the layout, whats new... Added £100 decals added gradients to the reels changed the Hi lo reel numbers Straightened up the right side of the machine, by doing this the "red" lamps on the top half may "jump" a tad but not really noticable relight the dond lamps and red lamps to match what i light via Ps. added prize info up top and various text's missing from the earlier £70 edition the top logo isn't lamped how it should be this is due to i can't seam to get it into test mode for some reason. if anyone can ID the top logo lamps in order please post away plays in MFMEv20.1 Enjoy and Happy Gaming!!!!

Here is Colour of Money Casino by Astra. Set on 30p/£15/90% . I saw this machine switched off in the corner of an arcade so took some discreet snaps to see if I could make a DX of it. So from the photos I quickly managed to grab, I've done the best I can to create a DX. It was on £5 play so I've had to redraw some £15 decals as I didn't think £5 would be very entertaining to play! Hope you enjoy playing it. Any problems let me know Cheers!

Here we have a machine I used to play when I was younger. I remember it playing a terrible game on £5 jackpot and on a lot of boards, you would just end up cycling through sandstorms and parrots, not actually offering anything and then killing you. I'm pleased to say it does play slightly better on £15 Thanks goto @infection for sharing his Google drive of images from where I picked up the flyer from. Not the easiest flyer to clean up but I did my best with it. Set on £15/30p/86% Hope you enjoy playing Cheers

Will fight your way to victory, or have a quick defeat in the arena Well this is actually the 3rd time i've re-released this clubber, It was first released as a classic layout by @Matty.n then shortly afterwards by myself as a mini £200/1024dx back in Oct 2015 (door open mode) then along came @Wizard with the newer v5 Mfme (Oct 2016) and shut the back door so it could be played normally Fast forward to now 300+layouts later (2021) and thanks to @Player for uploading various Qps flyer scan here's the third instalment, this time bigger and clearer. i eventually finished it with my laptop running photoshop slowly so took longer than the normal 3hrs to complete lol the red cash decals may not look that good but it'll do for now. After doing Volcano, I saw this game and whilst not being a big fan of it, I wanted to do another layout. I hope that if you like the game, you enjoy my version. NB - It has the original notes on it (I couldn't change them) and I have seen there should be more individual lights on the Red Bar (and possibly others) but I'm waiting for some information on the bulb numbers for them. Hope you enjoy MRM

  12. I just had the mother of all streaks on this thing - so, this thing has played like an absolute bitch, heaven forbid they play like this in the real world .. But the game has been in the low 70% area for nearly £3000 in, then... Treble bars dropped straight in and held (this with £95 already in the bank), 4 spins later, red bars on reels 1 and 3, held them and Red Bar dropped in reel 2 straight away and the JP held, about 15 spins later, 3 nudges leaving 2 red bars showing, holds light up, let em spin for a jackpot, which also held too for a grand total of £320 (well technically its £325 as single bars also dropped in just before i ran out of credits) Couldn't believe it, buts taken me exactly £2750 to get that streak for a total of £2355 payed out and its still 3% under %age Just thought i'd share that little story! Imagine being the poor fucker to play that next.. oh wait.

  14. Never tried an emptier or method as I never got to know any but this one is interesting. It does indeed work. 123.6% and a -1175 drift. £3000 in, and £3696 out. Sure, a big profit of almost £700 but this took soooo many hours to reach PLUS I had the advantage of seeing what was in the DOND prize box so I could play to the advantage. So assuming in the wild, the DOND game was a game of chance, the player not knowing what is in the box. My best time playing was using the BANK IT, saving a single DOND, and busting and getting a single DOND game but with £70 in the box. 2 spins later and back on the feature board with a GO ALL THE WAY.... And the game was still buzzing... The ability to get the BANK IT does seem very difficult to achieve at times. What sort of time do people spend trying a method out? I guess simply not losing on a machine is pleasurable but to play the machine, gaining an edge has to be fantastic. Looking at how long it took me to get that £700, it seems like such a long time but putting it in perspective, it would work out at a gain of about £100 an hour. Good video Degsy. I quite enjoyed trying to replicate your method.

  15. @niallquinn i feel for you bud, glad you've seen the light and quitting gambling its the right step forward, next up try to at least cut back on the booze it'll do you no good in the end. sometimes like you've stated drinking, drugs and gambling are all linked one way or another. Take another look at your dad and ask yourself is drinking loads healthy for you and him, would you want your father seeing you this way This Covid bullshit hasn't helped people like us, i'm lucky i was never furloughed, yes it would've been nice to have a four week holiday for free, but i can guarantee i'd be playing the slots more either online or land, purely out of boredom its about time Boris got his finger out of his arse and opened Everything back up, none of this fannying about get it done for everyone mental wellbeing i bet july 19th will also be pushed back if not wait till Autumn and its flu season starts, back to square one..

  16. Another sad story that no doubt members can relate to in parts. But it's great to see you're on the right road now. There is always a reason behind gambling, boredom and stress being the two main culprits imo. But on the other hand it can be because it can be fun and even thrilling. The key really is to prevent the reason/s why someone turns to gambling and because it's not always possible to prevent these reasons from happening, to have an alternative to gambling, when it does.

  17. Believe it or not, but the method you explained above is exactly how "professional" fruit machine players usually play machines. Barcrests are a prime example of machines that are worth forcing for jackpot. On some machines there will be a certain feature that pays jackpot which can be obtained before the machine is ready to give a GATW board. Your result on Barcrest It's Amazing is interesting. Usually the Barcrest critical error pops up when the machine has gone way over percentage or paid out too much. Never seen it error like this when it's been forced. If you force Psycho Cash Beast or Frenzy on the early program, you will find the bonus starts on taxi or skillstop on feature entry. On Pie Factory there is a high up feature called Upper Crust where you have to hit the flashing buttons. Just don't hit the right button and you can lose. On The Simpsons the "pros" method back in the day is collect £1 on the red board. It will still keep spinning in the feature which will be red, so keep collecting £1 until the feature spin in is normal. Then it goes on a £60 or £75 run. Monopoly Road To Riches was an interesting result. A lot of JPM machines will spin the jackpot straight in when they have been forced. JPMs are an example of a machine where it's best to collect wins though.

  22. Just a quick update on this project. My new hopper arrived broke (base smashed in), and my note acceptor was only working when it felt like it (6 dry solder joints on LED inputs). I ended up having to fix both of them myself. Fortunately my JY-142 board arrived OK. I am now holding off on setting everything up until I get my reset counter. (This goes in between the acceptor and the JY board for book keeping) Cost - about a fiver. @davep180 Now an update on the key press, so that I can insert notes for credits. I found a really useful solution for this, that will literally only cost 3USD. GitHub - Juul/ict-bill-acceptor-as-usb-keyboard: Converting ICT bill acceptor pulse output to USB keyboard keypresses I have just ordered a leonardo thingy for about 4.5 squid and will report back in a few weeks.
