  1. Hey guys My apologies I haven't kept this up to date but it's been all go here. The cabinet is finished and all I have to do is tweak software and and more games in time for my dads birthday on Tuesday. You can see a number of progress photos below. I estimate the 3D printing to have taken upwards of 110 hours overall. It is by no means a polished product but then it was never intended to be. It does it's job and actually wound up better than I expected. It's my first time producing a 3D printed project of this scale. That's where I fully expected things to fall apart. I thought my measurements would be way off but it turns out I was pleasantly surprised. It makes me more open to try other projects in the future using it. Feel free to fire any questions or suggestions if they'd have done anything differently. Also I must mention that the monitor doesn't actually have those horrible lines drawn on it as you can see in the photos. It's only visible in the photos. Difference in refresh rates between the screen and the camera on my phone.

This is one of the few layouts that I had to emulate. Set on £100 jackpot with a 78% payout. If I've got time, I might do Chops & Robbers as well. Thanks to @vectra666for the reel images and @fruitsnappafor the roms including the sound roms. Play in MFME V19.8 only.

Here is the dx version of Super Streax unfortunately like the classic the layout is still mute, seams a very generous game paying over 110% atm, the layout may suffer from the odd coin mech error if you ram to many coins into it, maybe wizard can tell us why and i'll amend the layout if needed thanks goto social dragon for the classic of this and to hitthesix for the main reel symbols plays in MFME v19.8 Only!!! enjoy and happy gaming!!!! hopefully the sound roms will turn up one day

  8. Well done! A nice tidy job with a small footprint:) I noticed on FE you said 110 hours to print....How much filament did it take? BTW....For Christmas you could always make your dad a tower that fits next to it. Put a coin Mech up the top, a hopper inside, and a pay out tray at the bottom. You would only need to add power and a few relays, then connect to the cabinet with a LAN cable. Maybe make another one for the other side, next birthday.

Here's a fun video SWP type game from BWB called Time Bandit. Roll the dice, land on a Time Gate square, stop a year and progress around the board landing on a cash prize or ? and answer a Hi-Lo question or land on other various squares. Keyboard shortcuts in notes section of the emulator Thanks to Wizard for the emulator, and also thanks to the rom and image provider. Please use MFME v19.6 or later to play

  11. Bloody good job there. I bet you could sell the printed plastics along with a list of where to buy the components - sort of a DIY kit. If you choose to do this here BTW - I have no problem you pimping this to others - it's art beyond anything else.

  13. In the game manager you can click the Tech tab to order the games according to the technology used, which in most cases will give you all the manufacturers in one group, apart from the rebuild companies which used multiple techs. Or, when you've got a game open you can go into the Design tab, select edit mode, and then when you go into the Config tab you'll be able to change the second caption box to whatever you like

  17. Just donated. It's been 13 years or so since I first discovered fruit machine emulation. This alongside mame has given me the chance to relive my youth from childhood to early 20's without being totally skint in the process... Cheers to all for years of fun and of course to Wizard for kicking off the fruity side of emulation... (oo-er )
