  1. Version 1.0.v20.1

    191 downloads

This originally wasn't released on here maybe due to the site not around then, but i've revisted the layout (For the 3rd time lol) as was asked to remake a £2.40 all cash edition for the 50 credit challenge. @Big J i've included the £4.80 version as i've made a few changes to the original as in but kept the sideart sharpened the cash decals and win plan where it was blurry in places relit those area's blended the win plan lamps and the base lamp border so it flows much better around the logo And Added input for the 10p/50p coins. notes from the 1024wdx edition Here is a lo-tech machine from Project-- Reflex simular to jokers wild in appearance. Thanks and a BIG thanks go to these guys To Captain Haddock for his classic layout used for lamping positions Jonno/Launton for giving me the images/reel bands of this machine in the first place. To Welshskiprat for his machine where the photo's were taken from, and for a video he made for the attract mode and to Steelfix for his help with W-SkipRat in uploading said video. This layout has the earlier P60/68 ROM in it gives better streaks thanks again to Welshskiprat and Jonno Shortcuts are as standard except Reflex = R 10p = 7/ 50p = 8 and 20p (cash version) = 9 20p token (4.80 version) = 9 Enjoy (again) and Happy Gaming!!!!

  3. Hi Guys, I did so much reading and testing with MFME lastnight to try and get a full understanding on designing layouts, lamps etc... One day I would really like to be able to help out with updating older layouts, new ones and even customs, if you guys like the custom angel... but I could really do with some type of links to a guide or tutorial with designing graphics please if anyone is happy to help me out I will figure it out, but a guide might cut the time down. Plus how do roms work? can you make your own to work with a new layout? sorry for the Q's... horrible being a noob at my age lol! Thanks Guys Stay Safe!

  5. I am pleased to finally upload a guide I've been working on for a little while to try to bring layout designing to those that have never done this before. For anyone that is slightly interested, please take a look at the download section for the PDF. I will update this as time goes by. Have fun and go and build those layouts...

  7. A classic is a one that doesnt include the art and design e.g simpsons machine without all the characters pictures etc and a dx is Including all the artwork for example Simpsons would include images of bart and look exactly like the machine in rl

  9. This maybe some help to get up and running... It does not do graphics - but if you do the classics first - the graphics are actually just a couple of steps away. I'd walk before you run on designing and I promise that if you get a couple of classics under your belt - it's an easier transistion to the DX type layouts.

  11. The original idea was to be able to issue an update every time a bug was fixed and rather than creating a new download package and submitting it etc just provide an update. But due to the limitations of the original Updater, this proved impossible. WIth the new updater I can issue an update anytime without affecting the release number ( unless I have to ),, and MFME can be set to check for updates on Start Up. I don't want to clog up the Download section with dozens of updates. It's also just easier for me tbh and has proved useful when updating the beta version virtually every day.

  13. HI, I'm currently working through them all, I'm up to T's in Barcrest. After Barcrest, BWB, JPM and BFM are done it's going to be a matter of days. If I keep going the rate I am I should be finished the whole collection in about two weeks depending if real life gets in the way. I will eventually get them all done though. You can open an old .dat in v5.1 then save it as an .fml so it will run in v19 but of course it won't always have the tweaks that are possible in v19. That would have to be done separately. Good luck.

  19. Wouldn't it make sense to simply have the latest version of MFME hosted directly on DIF, rather than rely on the updater? (The updater can still be there too, of course.) It has always occurred to me as being a slightly worrying dependency on the updater working correctly to get the emulator to the correct version following an initial install. Let's imagine a worst case scenario where Reg wins the lottery and buys himself a trip on Elon Musk's spacecraft thingy, but then there is an accident in space and Reg is stuck orbiting the earth forever. Something goes wrong with DIF after Reg has got stuck in space, and an MFME fan needs to rebuild their PC. They have a backup of the V19 installer which they run to get MFME V19 on their system, but with no backend for the updater to connect to, they are unable to ever get back to the latest version.
