  2. Bell Fruit Games - Hi Roller AWP

Well, here's something else to keep you entertained for about 15 minutes of Lockdown 2, before you remember that the older machines were better and leave this gathering dust in your download folder. Wouldn't blame you at all for doing that
Anyway it's a modern-ish Bell Fruit Games 'Reel 2 Video' machine. As you'll have seen in the WIP thread I've had to bodge the feature entry trails, I honestly couldn't think of a way of getting them to work otherwise but would be open to revisit this layout if a better, working option is found.
Also, if any issues are found and things need correcting, please let me know and I'll upload a fixed version. Seems fine to me but I'm sure something will have slipped through the net!
Here's the attached notes from the layout :

  5. Bell Fruit Games - Hi Roller £500 Classic

Here is a layout I have made for Hi Roller, a £500 jackpot poker style game by Bell Fruit Games.
I used to play this a fair bit, it's rather like Random Spinner and similar Section 16 (then updated to B3) games, in that it's got a 'wheel' feature. Unlike those slot machine games, where the wheel is triggered by 3 symbols on a winline, on this machine it is 'randomly' triggered by any losing hand of poker.
It is multi-stake, from 50p play up to £5 play, and the percentage payout also scales from 90% for the lowest stake, up to 98% for the highest stake.
Now, I did have the layout fully working but have somehow managed to stop the note acceptor from working, I will release an updated layout if I can manage to get it going again. I've tried all the obvious things I can think of but am totally stumped. Credit to anyone who finds out what I've done wrong!
    Layout notes are quoted below.
    Cheers

  8. DOND - Feeling Lucky

Deal Or No Deal - Feeling Lucky
My second layout is finally here. I did this one much quicker than the previous due to decent artwork supplied.
I'm not a big fan of these DOND machines but I wanted to try and DX one as they are not that complicated.
There is one error that doesn't affect gameplay and thats the transfer button says transfer £2 but it transfers £5. I could of changed the graphic but I want to move on to something else so left it for now. I may update the layout at a later time to fix this and any other errors that may crop up. For now. Enjoy the layout.

Thought I should post a release to get the ball rolling.  This is something old that I don't think has been released before.
Chris would not want the download area to get dusty, he never liked dust.  I recall how annoyed he was about the dust when he was doing his loft conversion, so here is a simple release of something I don't think is out there.

  12. Ronnie o'sullivan's Rocket Money Psuedo DX.

Here is my first release on DIF.
It is Ronnie O'sullivan's Rocket money Psuedo Dx by bellfruit. £70/84%.
There doesn't seem to be any artwork for this machine,so being a snooker fan, decided to do this as a learning process.
So don't be too hard on me
I now truly understand all the painstaking hard work that goes into these layout,so my hat is of to all you layout designers out there.
    You know who you are
This is probably a little different to what you are used to, but I've given it my best shot, learning how to lamp(not perfect),and the complexities
of MFME 20.1.Lots of trial and error. lol
All thanks to the appropriate parties within notes in the layout.
    Please expect errors....
God I hope I've done this right hehe

Here's a classic I made over about 5 hours, albeit spread over a huge amount of time. Started off with lots of enthusiasm for it and then kept forgetting about it!
I believe it's all working as it should. If you find any errors do please let me know.
I've used the MFME font for the heart and fish symbols - if they do not appear as hearts and fish (see attached screenshot!) then please download and install the MFME font found here :

  18. Gunpowder Slot DX by MRM

As requested by @infection, here is Gunpowder Slot.
Thanks to DragonSocial for the original Classic layout and Wizard for the awesome MFME
I haven't changed any bulb numbers but the bottom 3 bombs to the right hand side don't seem to look right with the lights but I'm not sure if they're correct or not? Plus there's a bit of text that's not readable but there isn't enough size for it to be readable anyway. I'm sure it will say what it is when you get it anyway
Anyhow, the editing on this was quite a lot because the original had lots of white lines on it pointing to different areas of the machine so I think I've done a nice job with it and am particularly pleased with the colours etc.
I hope you enjoy the machine and if there is anything I've missed, please let me know and instead of doing one amendment and releasing an update, I will wait for a few days and when all's completed, I'll update it then

  20. BFM - Club Cops N Robbers (SC2) £75 - £250 mod

Please find attached a small layout mod for Reg's brilliant CCnR DX.
The purpose of this originally was to simply test different ROM sets and sort the versions we had. I made some small changes to the existing DX to facilitate this work, and with Reg's permission it made sense to now release these to the scene for anyone who has an interest in playing the CCnR game at different stakes/prizes/rom revisions.
    Notes:
5 DX's using different ROM revisions: 5p-£75      (750-190 v9.1) (ROM date = 20/01/1994) 10p-£100 (750-628 vK.1) (ROM date = 02/02/1996) 20p-£150 (750-154 v5.3) (ROM date = 16/11/1993) 20p-£200 (750-118 v1.2) (ROM date = 20/07/1993) 25p-£250 (750-859 vL.1) (ROM date = 02/09/1996) Lamp masks Blended lamps on win matrix bottom glass Pay-out custom sounds Meter effects Changed colours on Dot matrix and 7 segs to match original machine a bit closer (personal preference) Reel gradients Added one of Reg's casino backgrounds for ambience in F3 (full screen) mode BUT original art remains if you want to drag it all back into view (the reel bands on the side art have been added as an image to this download post) All ROMs are included as a separate download with a visual guide AutoPlay profile added and used to get CP's full around £3000/£4000 IN Added flyer/cabinet/game photos  and .db files for MFME Game Manager This mod was released with Reg's approval, and the credit must go to him for the original classic and DX layouts.

  21. BFM - Public Enemy No. 1 Club (SC2) £75/£100/£200 mod

Please find attached a small layout mod for Pook's brilliant PEN1 DX.
The purpose of this was to simply test different ROM sets (I found out later we only have a few) and sort the versions we had. I made some small changes to the existing DX to facilitate this work, and with Pook's permission it made sense to now release these to the scene for anyone who has an interest in playing the PEN1 game at different stakes and prizes on an earlier ROM set than the previous £250 DX (which used 750-846 dated 20th August 1996)
    Notes:
3 DX's with different stake/JP all using the same ROM revision 750-257 v1.2 dated 26th July 1994: 5p-£75  | 10p-£100  | 20p-£200. JP Decals adjusted for each DM Busy flag changed over to switch 36 to fix sync issues between normal game code and dot matrix code (e.g. Capone's Caper out of sync etc.) Pay-out custom sounds Changed colours on Dot Matrix and 7 segs to match original machine a bit closer (personal preference) Learnt from Pook's amazing Happy Hour DX on how to do masked DX's which can incorporate full screen (F3) artwork whilst not requiring the original side art to be hidden. I wish I had looked into this with CCnR. Each DX has a different background just to try and add to the realism and provide some variety. AutoPlay profile added and used to get all DX's happy and CP's full. Added flyer/cabinet/game photos  and .db files for MFME Game Manager. Added game manual PDF It would seem that these ROM versions opposed to the 25p/£250 version give a better game overall. Interestingly the 25p/£250 game has a completely different BFM internal project ID PR6574 whereas these versions have ID PR6331. This wasn't the case with CCnR which shared the same project ID across all versions including the later 25p/£250 ones.
This mod was released with Pook's approval, and the credit must go to him for the DX layouts.
I am only adding a few things here and there to these DX's and it's a simple job for me tinkering around like this. The work that layout designers do, both classic and DX layout's is the tough stuff.
Hope you enjoy and it's great to see people playing these DX's and talking about them.
    Cheers,
    Mort.
