The Jackpoteers £5 dx
By woodsy
thanks to wizard.. it's incredible the thought gone into the emulator and the fml side too!
thanks to @dad whose dx i used to lamp and the reels which are included too..
thanks to @Liverpool2008 for the beautiful image which i decided against editing to the preferred £15/25 versions of mine as that would ruin the base image imo!!
HOWEVER BY TICKING S DOOR, CONFIGURATION... YOU CAN CHANGE THE STAKE/PRIZE/PERCENTAGE YOURSELF TO THE WAY YOU WANT IT, THE BASE DECALS ARE OBVIOUSLY DIFFERENT BUT THE ALPHA TELLS ALL AND THE ONLY CHANGES ARE PURPLE & YELLOW BARS, BLUE & RED 7'S, AND THE JACKPOT OF COURSE. THE TOWER ONLY HAS THE TWO CHANGES, TOP BECOMING YOUR SELECTED JACKPOT, AND THE ONE BELOW IS £8. THE £15 IS MY PREFERENCE!
There are multiple lamps i couldn't figure out, they are lamped and look good of course but the existing 3 versions have them off, and no matter how much i tried with the lamp boxes it just wasn't making sense!! @vectra666 if bothered may help and i'll update but for now it's in prefect working order with a little woodsy input on barcrest lamp maps!
my fingers are suffering from all the blood checks and it's really painful for me to keep working on lamping etc, i'm too addicted to fml to stop but i'm going to be a bit slower for the time being until i get my new life as a diabetic under control etc..
today marks a year on dif.. it's a great site bringing memories back from extinction! i'm glad i've been a part of that too, i will do my best to continue doing so!
as usual any complaints send them to po box 8008135.

£8 TOP TENNER DX
By woodsy
thanks and respect to wizard. what a legend.
thanks to @dad for very kindly providing me with the .psd for his exceptional reels in his £10 dx. and also to @Liverpool2008 for the incredible images provided and his continued attempts to help with more to make these super 48mp images perfection...
this is a SUPER HIGH RES IMAGE, it's made with arcade sim in mind and for the cabinet users at home, it's a whopping 43mb .fml so be aware when downloading..
IF LIKE ME YOU ARE ONLY 1080p, I STRONGLY SUGGEST DOWNLOADING THE DX09 BY @dad £10 VERSION, IT'S GLORIOUS! AS ARE ARE THE MANY EXISTING VERSIONS
this has blended lamps and different features to the £10/15 versions, no MEGA CASH, the notes now are only used as the bank!! but it looks great in attract mode!!
this is the first of many upcoming super hd images that i'm releasing using the images from liv2008.. they all exist already in some form but the releases i produce will be awesome so obviously it's worth my time and effort
thanks also to the previous releasers of this game as lamping mpu4 was tricky.... or i just found it hard haha..
BEST WISHES ONE AND ALL

Throw a Wobbler DX
By woodsy
after discussion with @PekoJPF here is the dx version of throw a wobbler, he has been the vital ingredient in this process for without his classic i would of struggled to complete this as it had a few hurdles to manoeuvre along the way and as requested by pekojpf here are the people he wishes to thank for enabling his success and of course the sentiment is doubled by my desire to thank the following people for their involvement along the way.
@Matty.n (Test mode advice and overall support) @wearecity (Cracking the UNUSED INPUT error) @Reg (Allowing me to use his reels from Flash Cash, and hosting, running DIF) The ROM provider @serene02 for patient and detailed advice and guidance creating individual masks and lamping advice @Wizard (Without him, what would we have....?)
PLEASE BE AWARE THIS INCLUDES A EXPERIMENTAL LAYOUT DESIGN; the art i had was mainly on, so i used it as i do, but one of the bulbs on the real machine was broken/off instead of fixing it i ran with it as i have played many a machine with a broken bulb (who hasn't).. it's still there just unlit, so you can collect it and it doesn't change anything other than add to the authenticity that i'm striving for.. INCLUDED IS A SEPERATE FOLDER WITH THE LAMP FIXED AND WORKING IF THE USER PREFERS IT BUT THE BROKEN BULB LAYOUT IS MY SUGGESTED ONE AS IT'S HAD A LOT OF PLAYTIME THROUGH IT. There are also a lot of areas with light reflections so be kind.
please pay attention to the hi/lo reel as it's as close to a replica as my skills could create, i'm very happy with it...
the other detail that i've been spending so long on which has delayed my usual layout speed (for the better) are the masks, the cherry one is class and the whole jelly has individual blended masks.. DO NOT UNPACK THE REMAINING BLENDED MASKS AS THAT WILL DISABLE THE SHOOT LAMPS IN ATTRACT MODE WORKING AS DESIRED I HAVE ALREADY UNPACKED THE ONES THAT NEEDED IT.
I had extreme difficulty with the red jelly lamping and this is the style i've ended on after a good 20+ variances through testing..
the reels are by @Reg with the new number overlays being mine, the purple mystery win backing is authentic to the machine too.. all stressful and difficult haha. I hope you all enjoy it..

High Rise £4.80/£6.00 Dx's
By vectra666
Here's something special for the early may bank holiday to relive your youth (if old like me) or just to have a nice good old fashioned play
High Rise by Barcrest is a game of Hi Lo, two of them. in fact i read somewhere it was the first machine to have dual Hi Lo reels within?
This machine featured in Coronation Street where it sat in Gail's Cafe and her son Nick became Addicted to fruities, probs for only a week going by soapland storylines.
still not found the Youtube footage of it yet?
anyways enough Waffling now the credits
First Thanks to @Reg for bringing up the machine in a recent topic which included the flyer (which i'll upload to this topic in a mo)asking for it to be re-emulated, I hope i've done it justice!!
@CompostCORNER - classic layout, Image Dynamics for the Dx i used as a base including most of the reel symbols (jackpot homemade from image)
Slotto from the mecca for uploading the main image used in producing this gem
and of course @Wizard for mfme's past n present
i think the coin inputs are now correct as i've used mpu4 token from the drop down list as the standard 20 was for 20p's (change yours @Reg if needed)
shortcuts are as standard but are listed within the £4.80 version.
The Hi Lo's are as followed Red Hi = 4, Lo = 5, Green Hi = 6, Lo = 7
Plays in Mfme 20.1
Enjoy and Happy Gaming!!!!

£5,10,15 MONEY MAKER DX'S
By woodsy
WIZARD - RIP
thanks to @infection for the images and support. thanks to @captainhaddock for the classic which i lamped from..
3 versions and only 4 dodgy decals the difference between them, that and my attempted wording recreations. it's me after all...
how strange that 5-15 they still have the same cash ladder?!?!? madness but allows for multi stake play and there is a bit of fun to be had but all together a basic game tbh
they are probably a bit happy as been on auto play mainly..
any errors please inform me and i'll update.. there are three lamps i've not used and will not be adding as not needed.
decided not to blend the top logo for gameplay reasons and feel free to change that yourselves.
got a few images recently to work on so have a couple of my own to do then back to the wip requests.. thanks for the ideas and belief..
best wishes

£15/£25 CODFATHER DX
By woodsy
Thanks wizard for this passion of mine.
Thanks to various layout designers including, @Tommy c whose reels and layout i have used to find lamp numbers and guidance.
I'm thankful to the person who made the symbols so much better than the original options available, unsure who that was but i've used them from various layouts here and there and also a big up to any reel creators out there... Getting them in line, making sure they're the same size, across the 3 reels is not a simple task... i've done my best.
there are 3 options. the £15 has a happy and unhappy ram, you might like to do it yourself, the £25 is happy and 4 reds to the good so enjoy or ram clear it to start from the beginning..
there is a issue when it gives hints on the reels due to the big fish not being connected to the game it stutters a bit but doesn't effect gameplay in anyway.
after watching a video of this WHICH IS COMEDY GOLD BY THE WAY, it is lamped differently than i have done it but bugger it this looks fine hahah
feedback welcomed and appreciated when it's positive haha

Club Hyper Viper £100-10p / £200- dual stake Dx's
By vectra666
Slivering up next is this popular themed fruit machine, of which they're still releasing new versions to this day. Hyper Viper the Club edition, based on snakes and ladders or adders n ladders, they're all the same..
Thanks Goto
The provider of the £100 real machine images/flyer used for decal button changes
@Ploggy for the very old classic used as a template for the dx, the classic was made way back in 2003, maybe one of the first classic's made!
@Tommy c for the dice reel from viva las vegas
also Thanks to @WonkySausagefor sending me the "unlocked" classic and help with the prize checkboxes
@fruitsnappa test mode info
Shortcuts listed within the notes on each
the £200 dual stake does give a repeat chance on the cashpot, which by the looks of things will take a million quid to max, there is yes/no lamps but these appear to not light up on the repeat chance, also the majority of lamps are in their correct postions but also a few aren't
Anyways, Enjoy and Happy Gaming!!!

Las Vegas Strip £8 token & £10 cash
By woodsy
thanks to wizard for the amazing mfme. It's crazy!!
thanks to @vectra666 @No1Stoney @spa @baz1379 @Dean @marie2003 and many others who bit by bit have made the jigsaw work to a releasable standard imo.
thanks to @Road Hog Mad for sourcing new images semi h-r that i cut out and stitched into several other bits and bobs to make a layout.
there are two version's £8 token jp and £10 cash jp both 20p play and set at 86%
i have had the biggest struggle so far with this game, honestly the most stressful layout of the lot that i've done. But i hope it's been worth it, it's the name trail that proved incredibly difficult to get right..
hope you enjoy the blast from the pier's past.

SUPER HYPER VYPER £6 20P
By woodsy
thanks to wizard for mfme, thanks to leehaim for the original layout, thanks to @Road Hog Mad for the idea.
thanks to classic designers all round..
It's more of a size increase than an artistic upgrade but tbh I loved doing it as I will all the layouts i create, I mean no disrespect to any and every artist in fml land but I will keep learning and loving making layouts as always, as well you all know I try very hard to fill in the missing gaps where possible DX wise, however they are running out of course and art is hard to come by at times, where possible i will seek permissions to add my version of a layout, obviously where high res recent work has been done there's no point but with the new 2022 software and mfme 20.1 options only now available it's possible to do things that weren't possible 10-20 years ago, basically I'm trying to ensure it's fully understood it's love of the games and the artwork that drives me to do layouts, not a ego trip attempt to do a better version etc..
I've started a request thread, I'll do my best to help as always!
anyways the mrs played this earlier, she's never played a fruit ever, after a brief tutorial explaining why the reels flash and move haha, she gave it a thumbs up and wants to go to mr p's to spend £20 hahaha
so that should tell you it's alright eh
enjoy
WOODSY
now has @serene02 's unbelievably realistic redrawn coin mech, i did only learn photoshop at the same time i did mfme layout creation so i apologize for little errors or big

Austin Powers £15/30p/86%
By No1Stoney
As requested, here is and updated version of the brother of King Kebab.. Austin Powers. Set on £15/30p/86%.
Another tricky machine to lamp due to the 4-colour lava lamp. I hope it comes out OK on peoples systems. Took me ages to complete this as wanted to get it looking as best as I could.
Thanks to @vectra666 for the disco lamps around the start button from which I copied into this layout.
There is a slight quirk to the way the lava lamp acts in attract mode where the red lamps fill the lava lamp but the other colours flash at the same time, making it look odd.. I've checked many videos of this machine and it does this on the real machine so very little I could do. That being said, its not very noticeable.
Also thanks to the original DX creator (who I don't think is on here) RB from which I used to help me with some elements on this machine.
If there's any issues with the layout please let me know and I'll fix it. Enjoy.

King Kebab (Barcrest) £25/30p/86%
By No1Stoney
Here we have one of my favourite machines of all time, King Kebab. This time set to £25 Jackpot which I think is the best jackpot for this machine.
Its taken ages to get the multi-lamps working in the kebab stack but I think I've done them OK as previous layouts only had 2 colours working due to old emulator constraints.
I've always wanted to create a more up-to-date version of this machine and I hope I've done it justice.
I hope you enjoy playing this machine as much as I did back in the day and I hope it works OK for everyone.
Another shot at blended lamps, I hope they are OK, and I also hope they don't slow down the layout for anyone too much as I cannot tell on my PC.
Thanks to everyone for their support, @spa's Google drive for the flyer & @Johnnyafc who I believe did the previous £15 DX from which I used for reference.
Enjoy

Barcrest's Crazy Crazy Knights - updated classic
By Dougsta
This is an update for a classic I made more than 12 years ago. This game had a previously unemulated component called the Win-O-Meter, which gives the player a hint as to their chance of winning the next gamble. It's always annoyed me, and I recently went back and discovered how to get it working. Whether this was always possible but we just didn't realise, or if this was an update Wizard introduced more recently, I don't know.
Anyway it's a bank of multi-colour LEDs, and was quite simple to set up. I've also given the classic a spruce up while I was adding the Win-O-Meter.
I have to say it doesn't add a massive amount to the gameplay. There's a vague correlation between the amount of green and winning the next gamble, but overall it's pretty meaningless. If presented with a lot of red, you can Shuffle to perhaps have more green for the next gamble, but it just doesn't add the depth to the game it could have. It's telling that Barcrest never used this idea again.
Anyway the game is OK and it's good to have the emulation spot on for another game. There are DXs by Ady and BruceGeorge, but I'm not sure if either of them are involved with FME any more. In any case, it would be good to see an updated DX one day.
Thanks to @Wizard for all he invested in MFME, and to everyone else for their ongoing contributions to the site.
@Geddy - in a spare moment could you replace the Legacy Classic with this one please? Both are my work, and this version is the more complete experience

1996 Oldtimer (Barcrest) [Dutch] 1996
By Dymies
Hey Everyone!
A new year, a new release! I hope everyone will enjoy this one.
Oldtimer, released by Barcrest for the Dutch market in 1996. It was the answer for the new runners by Errèl.
At the time, only the Random Runner could steal a point from the bottom game to play the top game.
The 0/1 game then was THE TRICK to tackle this problem.
This version is one of the more famous cabinets in the timer series with many re-releases.
Classic lower game, a 5 credits (4 with a 0/1 game) upper game with criss / cross win lines and 4 piggy banks!
Enjoy Oldtimer!
Cheers, Dymies
