Ha ! Yeah, lots of vpin ppl here, been there from the early beginnings, now a major part of the Arcade. Link to Cab build over at vpforums https://www.vpforums.org/index.php?showtopic=21820 And with the sudden demise of vpinball.com i have much more appreciation for ALL niche sites.

Man, i just had to make a thread out of this, i just want to thank Laylow and all others for making Dutch machines come alive on my cab. I spend lot's of hours on this thing and im LOVING the machines Laylow makes, thanks man for all your hard work. Also very cool to see some of the old names from the era of fruity.nl on my screen again, Patje PSV comes to mind. Ahhhh 80's & 90's bliss. Bedankt mannen voor AL jullie werk, ik waardeer het ENORM !!

Nope some resizing is still to be done, but some real life crap got in the way. Have some time on my hands to enjoy this machine, it's just great !

So a few days further......and some observations... *1 : This is fun ! I'm having a blast with making the layout of Goldrun, soooo satisfying when you get the first sounds out of it ! *2: This is frustrating ! Resources are extremely scarce (and not only for Goldrun), pictures are few and things like the reelbands are unobtanium. I am now more aware that this is very much a quest for resources, my initial plan was to recreate some older Dutch slots, but the fact is that not much has survived. And to make things worse: not much to find on the i-net either, there are just NOT a whole lot of people into this hobby. So the hunt for good quality pictures is on ! I have some contacts with people who deal with slots and when they get something in that's suitable i'm invited to take pic's and scan the reelbands, maybe even dump the rom's .

Yeah, you are absolutely right, this however is still a quick and dirty version, i just want to see if i can pull it off and if so i can always do a nice cleanup afterwards. Now struggling with finding the bands for this machine, bit one thing's all to apparent: this is a FUN hobby for sure, very creative ?
