  1. Of course I always knew of Wizard but don't ever remember a PM or other direct message with him Always thought he did a great thing bringing it back in 2017, think that his kindness was validate by what has emerged to a much nicer and calmer scene since. On that topic I've been around since more or less the start, maybe a year or two later than Chopaholic and others, was never a big contributer adside from the forum fighting in the Fruit Forum days Watched Chopaholic's video tonight and also remembered the first time I loaded the emulator and played club blackjack. Can still remember the joy of playing a "real" machine on my PC, the memory is is very clear.to this day. Would never say the emulator cured me, but its a brilliant bit of work, endless hours of fun. I would say the the scene Chris created has helped cure me though, all the "method" videos and emptiers we see via the MFME show that it was a mugs game 30 years ago and still is today for those without tricks. Last bit of my redemption was lockdown which broke what had become a rather bad FOBT habbit, never bother with slots now aside from MFME. So many thanks to all you did Wizard as its helped and entertained me over the last 20 years
  2. Very sad, had years of pleasure from his work and the scene he created. Thought it was a great thing Chris did when he updated MFME and released it in 2016. Gave the scene a 2nd more civilized chapter in may respects. Didn't know him that well, but he stuck me as private, but also generous guy in the help he gave people here.

    Super Cobra £3 BWB

Wow a blast from the past! thanks!
  4. Used to like the the RPG's , Chrono Trigger and Secret of Mana were 2 that stood out. Did own a console when they were current as well.- These days you can play it on just about anything emulation wise, have a pretty good Hyperspin set but spend more time keeping that updated than playing it. Pesky kids to blame, mine are young and full of beans so not much time. The eldest (6) asked to play Pacman the other week out of the blue so gave him a bash on Mame so hopefully we will be playing this togther in a few years!

    Random Gold

Thanks for these, always avoided these 50p\70JP low techs in the wild as they ate money, put £150 into this and had a £10 and 2 £5 wins!
Used to love this machine in the wild, it was odd though, you could get up to £150 on the gamble ladder only to be blown out trying to get £250 Then the machine would act like it had paid out the £150 out and go on a £30 plus mean streak! Playing this on an emulator shows how much it does this, shoved in £300 and not collected a win, must have been @£150 on the gamble 7 times now
