thanks to wizard for mfme. massive and real kudos to @monkeyboypaul for his incredible patience and support with images and time to allow me to recreate a part of my playing years in such a way. thanks to @vectra666 for the lovely cabinet, the coin effects and the continued assistance to get things working when i lose my patience! there is a forum wide knowledge that i'm a bad listener and as such these are as big as i can make them, that means they'd stutter with the middle lamp blended. I have therefore used my artistic lack of skill to lamp it as best possible to avoid any slow down in attract etc.. ( yes i'll learn now ) I've used the best parts of many images to add as many true to life representations of the machine, i've used on images for multiple lamps in lamp test mode from the images provided in the hope to increase the effect and pleasure gained from a bashing. I was tempted to redraw (badly) you'll all be glad I didn't! never was the best game of all the monopoly and definitely the jpms of the era but has a place in my heart for it's pure "sets appeal" just to add, as my health has been improving i've found myself out and about again, this is a total opposite to the year before and is why i've been less visible recently, I'm just taking this opportunity to once again thank all users and many need singling out tbf but all in all, I am so glad to the site for the help and support afforded me in many ways through a hard time, i've got some wips, i've got the passion still and i'll be about here and there (gutted eh ) It's been great seeing new designers making strides into the scene and long may that continue. best wishes to all. Right, first things first. It's pretty janky. I could have spent more time and effort, but for the images available and that being the reason nobody wanted to embarrass themselve's with it, so I've taken one for the team. Base image looked OK until lamping, so had to chop cash stack images from Vectra's Vamp It Up as using fonts it looked really out of whack. Symbols for the feature 'HOT' are actually stock images of jean rivets, FFS. This whole thing is literally an exercise in me wanting the final piece of the Barcrest red and blue trail machines, regardless of how that was going to happen. It's best on a laptop which hides some things better. Such as not masking the inner trails. I have other things waiting that are far more deserving of the effort really as this was never going to be perfect. Added coin inputs 9=50p, 8=20p. Massive thanks to: @Mavroz for the classic and assisting with my questions and a really great conversation regarding MFME history etc. Top bloke. @vectra666 for helping with advice and issues I had relating to lamps, and for the bits I pilfered from VIU. @Amusements for a great resource for adding extra coin inputs. @edwardb for really interesting thread on how anti stats code works and why on some machines a multiple coin input is a nessecity. @infection for his archiving of images in Infections Images section. Always worth looking through just to find machines you may have forgotten about if nothing else. Also thanks to the community on here that inspire doing this. Anyone thinking of giving it a go should really consider it. If you choose something like this un DX'ed it kind of gives you a good chance to cut your teeth as at least it's something.

Next up is the prequel to Hitshot its tubular bells on the original £15 jackpot maybe the first rom set and the later £25 on maybe the final rom set of this Thanks goto the Original dx creator of this whoever it was, for the reel and majority of lamping positions @infection Images used all two of them, so just shows you only need a few images to make a semi-decent layout the multi coloured tube i think its lamped correctly although it don't look to good the way its lamped, if i'd of blended the tube it would've used upwards of 15-20 lamps and would've been too big covering most of the top half of the machine which would've probably slowed the layout down, it is what it is... I had to make the reels and if anyone wants to improve upon them feel free, the lamping for sinbad/guard move on the number reel was beyond me and if anyone can figure out a way to have them on a horizontal reel band instead of static please again feel free. the £6T version i had to make my own decals and hopefully they're good enough to pass inspection etc. never played this as a kid and i can see it's appeal, the repeats and features are really fun!! as usual any mistakes can be forwarded to my dedicated mfme fault finder hotline. 8008135. best wishes to the community and kudos to all creators! Probably the Last release from me this side of 2024, and its a special one for me.. this is around the 600th release from me via Fme land... Jumping Jack Flash, a fireworks themed fruit from Bfm i think its big brother is club firecracker as very similar themed although look entirely different I originally made this as a Pdx way back in around 2014 due to no decent images at the time. Fast Forward to 2023 and @stevedude2 uploaded a higher res flyer of the machine which still had the big fat star bottom right but got my lazy arse into removing that.. the layouts themselves are in a three in one release as each layout uses different roms, there was a whitbread £15 but stuck at 20p via planetemu (i'll up a link in a post) the reel symbols are the same ones used in the pdx if better quality ones arise then i can update them quite easily the £8 token layout seams a tad tight as in rarely gives IM boards but can get jackpots via the blast off feature. As said its a fun action packed machine that should keep you fairly entertained Shortcuts are as standard Plus Respin = R, Blast Off = X, Bell Man = B Enjoy and Happy Gaming this Christmas and in 2024 thanks to All that have released layouts, contributed towards layouts via resources and layout help, The site owners and adminds and of course less not forget the great man in the sky @Wizard lets raise a glass to him this Christmas as without his genius we'd have no layouts and no Mfme so To All in FME land, and All various Fme sites. I know this machine has been done previously but don`t think anyone has ever done all 4 jackpot prizes, have been thinking about doing this machine for a couple of years but then @SocialDragon368beat me to it in march so decided to hold off for a while. Most people who a familiar with this machine will notice that the £2/£3/£4/£5 decals on the gamble ladder aren`t exact but look ok imo. Each of the jackpots are set on different percentages but when you go to edit mode a box will pop up with percentage information for anyone wishing to change percentage. I recommend trying on 98% gives a lot of random nudges and is a bit more fun to play. Thanks to @SocialDragon368 and Uncle Chicken who`s layouts I all ready had which helped me with lamping and reels. Thanks to @Wizardfor MFME.

  30. I've not been up to doing much at all in the way of coding recently, hopefully slowly on the mend though And as such, I've been starting planning the next step in the 'Arcade Simulator' journey... Taking Arcade Simulator as our proof of concept (that we can run a large multiplayer arcade in realtime on a consumer PC with fruit machines and video games) - I think the plan should now be to build this into a fully open source project (hosted on github), that will be broken up into sub-projects. Just some initial thoughts on how this will be structured: This will be a large slow project! But at least we have now seen from Arcade Simulator that it is all actually possible, I honestly didn't know currents PCs were yet fast enough to run all those machines, back when I started it all As there will be separation between the 'apps', this will hopefully make it a bit more accessible for coders, for instance someone might be keen to work on the machine library app, but not be comfortable with 3d game coding, so that now won't be an issue. Also, this new project will be taking on the hard issues, such as people not being able to convert a fruit machine layout of their own from MFME format to something that can ultimately run in the arcade. I will still be using the existing 'MFME window scraping' technique for the extractor, as it does work, but I will add in various safeguards to try make it as safe as possible, things like: - scrape a layout a little slower - if a human generated mouse/keyboard input is detected, abort scraping - continuous 'window focus' watchdog strategies to detect desyncing during scraping - a warning popup to be ok'd that shows at start of every extraction; "This is experimental, while safeguards have been implemented, there is the potential for data loss, use at your own risk!" It will all take a long time to set all this up, and port the existing Arcade Sim systems into OASIS (especially assets that are licenced on a 'per seat' basis - in some cases I may be able to work with those asset creators on a solution to allow for use in open source, otherwise we need to roll our own)... but, the idea is that the project will ultimately no longer hinge on me doing it all! As now we have the working proof of concept in Arcade Sim, it makes most sense long term to build a future-proof platform - so if I were to meet an untimely demise in the future (RIP Chris) - the project could continue to grow and develop. The name OASIS came from the book Ready Player One "This is the Oasis. It's a place where the limits of reality are your own imagination. You can do anything, go anywhere. Like the Vacation Planet. Surf a 50-foot monster wave in Hawaii, you can ski down the Pyramids, you can climb Mount Everest with Batman. Check out this place. It's a casino the size of a planet! You can lose your money there, you can get married, you can get divorced, you can...you can go in there. People come to the Oasis for all the things they can do, but they stay because of all the things they can be: tall, beautiful, scary, a different sex, a different species, live action, cartoon, it's all your call. Yeah, that's me...well, that's my avatar, at least until I feel like changing it. Except for eating, sleeping and bathroom breaks, whatever people want to do, they do it in the Oasis. And since everyone is here, this is where we meet each other. This is where we make friends." - Wade Watts talking about the OASIS

Here's my layout of king kerching this never got an outing on here as it was from 2017, I've been editing bits on it and trying to get lamps in order that were missing from the first release. Thanks to the flyer provider, and to the rom provider not sure who supplied the roms now, and to the late wizard for the new mfme. If anyone can supply an arcade set for this that would be great as this is a pretty flat profile. MFME V20+ ONLY.

I'm hoping this works okay. I copied the files into a different directory without the bak files but it wouldn't work, so I have simply zipped the files from the main directory that I created it. Many thanks for @Matty.n for his superb original classic layout. Thanks to @infection for his excellent images and @vectra666 for his help and also @Liverpool2008 for his suggestion and help in working out where the DEATH wording goes. I've left it at the bottom section and hope it looks okay. As always, biggest thanks got to the late, great @Wizard for his amazing emulator, without which, none of these machine layouts would be possible. Enjoy the game and I don't know how, but one of the icons for the Victory game got deleted so I recreated it.

Float down the Nile and search the pyramids, Will you raid the tomb for its treasure or be cursed and lose the lot!! Thanks goto @hitthesix for the previous classic layout @infection - images Now onto the layout itself, this layout has a few minor problems. Firstly like the Classic layout beforehand, the Main LCD screen in the centre isn't Emulatable Atm so a fair bit of info won't show as in Let Em spin, hi lo reel is lit, and find my treasures!! also some features rely on the text so its guess work on our part!! For the main "find my treasures" the logo will flash. Finally the Start / Collect button should spin the reels and collect the bank, but couldn't workout how to make a dual functioning button, so to get around this the Collect button is underneath. you can drag the button off-screen and press "C" to collect winnings.. if anybody knows how to make it dual buttons let us know via a topic? Shortcuts are as standard Start = Spacebar Collect = Cancel = ` Holds = 1,2,3 Exchange = E £1 = 0, 20p token = 9 Enjoy and Happy Gaming!!!

There's a £15 variant by @Tommy c , but wanted a £25 version as well, so here it is. It's not my finest in my opinion, my 2 best so far will be released over Christmas. Couldn't find a name on the classic, but whoever you are thankyou. And credit to @Tommy c for reels used. All standard controls. Also for the method check out Cheerful Pessimist's channel.

Been working on this for a few weeks now and the images I had weren`t the best but has turned out better than I thought IMO. It`s not exact to the machine but very close as I have used win plan decals from the Stampede layouts because I was struggling to make the exact ones. There`s a total of 5 versions £4/10p/84% £8/20p/86% £8TK/20p/86% £10/25p/88% £15/30p/90%. Thanks to @hitthesix for reels and his classic for help with lamping. Thanks to @infection for posting the flyer on my wip thread which helped a lot. Thanks to @vectra666 for use of his stampede win plan decals. Thanks as always to @Wizard for MFME and this great hobby. Enjoy and watch out for that Lucky Lady.
