Hi Hi , I loved the megadrive , never owned one but my mother rented one at christmas from the video shop ( oh how times have changed ) . When i first played altered beast i was well impressed , closest i had ever seen to a coin op on a tv , the sound and the graphics were awsome . The games i tried were , Ghouls and ghost , and my favorite , mickey mouse castle of illusion . If you throw sonic in , and strider , it was one of the finest home entertainment systems .

Ah yes I forgot, the wonderful sticker on the glass that made it turbo and the three ??? to trigger the run. Got to love those decals as well. looks like its come straight out of the concept workshop I believe the jackpot sound was recorded in the grounds of Beverley Minster. Definitely Astra IO3 board though. I have the source code sat on the screen next to me with the FPGA equates file if its any use

Heres another one for your memory bank. Grandstand/Epoch: Invader From Space (1980)? Remember it well and good game to be fare, but look where the fire button is above the left and right stick not in the best of places really. The AD that made us all want one. And some gameplay.
